COMEDK UGET 2020:Registration to start from Jan 16,Check details

COMEDK UGET 2020 Notification has been released.The registration process to start from January 16, 2020, Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka will conduct the entrance test of COMEDK UGET 2020. It is a state-level entrance exam through which number of candidates will be provided admission to B.Tech degree programs. Candidates qualifying the test with minimum qualifying marks will be given admission in various engineering colleges located in the Karnataka State.

COMEDK 2020 mock tests will be available from February 5. Candidates can also download the previous year’s COMEDK UGET question papers from the official website and practice for the upcoming examination.

Eligibility:

Qualifying examination

1- Second PUC OR

2- 10+2 Higher Secondary OR

3- Equivalent examination recognized by State / Central Govt.

Marks in qualifying examination;

1- Candidates need to secure a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% marks for SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka State) in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

2- Candidates should also have passed these subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) individually with English as a compulsory subject.

3- Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Bio Technology or Biology or any other technical vocational courses as one of the optional subjects.

Note:

Candidates must take COMEDK UGET exam for engineering admissions through COMEDK.

Diploma candidates are not eligible to take COMEDK UGET exam as there are no lateral entry admissions.

Fees:

The application fee is Rs. 1,600 to be paid online using credit/debit/UPI/Net banking.

Through COMEDK exam, candidates will be eligible for admissions to over 20000 BTech and BArch seats offered by more than 120 colleges/institutes. Every year, more than 70,000 candidates appear for COMEDK exam.
