TNEA 2019 merit list has been declared by the Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE), Tamil Nadu. Higher education minister K.P. Anbalagan released the list today attributing the delay to the non-verification of certificate by many applicants. On the account of this delay, the counselling has been postponed to June 25. The Counselling for general category candidates starts from July 3 and ends on 28.
You can now check the rank list in online mode. The rank list consists of the secured ranks in the admission process. The released rank list is branch and category specific. During counselling, the candidates will be called according to their position in the rank list.

- Visit the official website of TNEA 2019
- Login using email ID and password created during TNEA 2019 registrations.
- Click on “Submit”
- The rank of TNEA 2019 will be displayed on the screen.
- Download it and take a printout for further use.
A total of 479 colleges will be participating in counselling. About 15 colleges had opted out of admission process. As many as 270 seats have been reduced by Anna University in its colleges and university departments.
Counselling dates have been postponed on account of the delay in declaring the merit list and ranks. It will now start from June 25 with counselling of differently-abled candidates followed by counselling forwards of ex-servicemen on June 26, and sports persons on June 27. Vocational stream counselling dates are June 26 to 28. All these are in-person counselling to be held at the Central Polytechnic College in Taramani, Chennai.
