B. Tech in Bio Medical and Instrumentation Engineering involves design, repair, maintenance, and operation of medical electronic equipment. This is a technical course which focuses on medical equipment that measure the physiological data of the patients. This in turn ensures that the patients get the best possible treatment, which increases the quality of medical care that can be provided. 

It deals with the engineering applications and principles that can be implemented directly in the medical problems pertaining to various issues like diagnosis, assistance, and surgical procedures.
