Entrance exam like JEE MAINS. JEE ADVANCE,WBJEE,TANCET are conducted each year for the admission of metallurgical and material engineering
The process could be sorted as below:
1. A candidate is required to register for these examinations, either on the official site of the institute conducting the examination or on the website of the boards conducting the exams.
2.Once this is completed then the aspirant needs to fill in his/her details and attach all his original documents like the mark sheet, a signature sample, photographs etc.
3.After all these formalities have been done, the candidate needs to pay the requisite fee ranging as Rs 500 up to Rs 2000/-. Online and offline payment modes are available
Question: what is the future of metallurgical and material science?
Answer: As it is a lesser known subject of engineering most of the student do not go for this course coz they think it is not much in demand but the fact remains we use this branch of technology in everywhere from manufacturing to household things.
Question: what kind of subject is more important in this engineering?
Answer: this branch of engineering require technical knowledge as the margin of error is limited.Altough there is a lot of math, metallurgical and material engineering require a good understanding of chemistry
Question: What entry qualification do you need to get into Metallurgical and material science?
Answer: The candidate must have scored a minimum of 50% mark in 10, +2 in the PCM. A 3-year Diploma holder is also eligible.
Question: What are the subjects I will be learning in Metallurgical and material science?
Answer: There are lot of subject will be taught and there will be some specialization subjects.some subjects are Chemical Metallurgy,Deformation and Mechanical Working of Materials,Mineral Process plant Design,Corrosion and Degradation of Materials,Elements of Electro Mechanics,Iron and steel Making,Polymers and nano composites,Thermodynamics and kinetics of material
Question: What are the job opportunities for a graduate in private sector?
Answer: Job opportunities are available in both Public sector and private sector. Some private Sectors are Gems and stone Industry,Mining Industry, steel plants to name a few.
Question: What is the job of a metallurgist?
Answer: Metallurgists study the properties of metals and then apply their findings to practical applications, such as metal production. They work with a range of metals including copper, precious metals, iron, steel, zinc and aluminium alloys.
Question: What are the skills required to get into Bachelor's Degree?
Answer: Effective technical skills and materials knowledge.Good in handling Thermodynamics and positive attitude to critical thinking and problem-solving.Interpersonal and creativity skills, team working skills.
Question: What are Material Engineering do?
Answer: Materials engineers will be needed to design new materials for use both in traditional industries, such as aerospace manufacturing, and in industries focused on new medical or scientific products. However, most materials engineers work in manufacturing industries.
