Admission process
For B.TECH:
- After the completion 12th with aggregation mark of at least 50% comprising the subjects physics, chemistry and mathematics, one can wish to pursue b.tech in nuclear science by scoring minimum aggregate mark of 75% in All India JEE Main. However cut off may vary year to year.
- Some universities have their own entrance exams on which basis the candidate is selected to adhere the course.
For M.TECH:
- After a candidate has successfully completed his/her b.tech in nuclear science with a minimum aggregate mark of 60% or its equivalent, one must be admitted through its performance in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE).
- Of course similar to b.tech there are several universities who conduct their own exams for the admission.
