Admission
It begins with an entrance examination and candidates' performance is evaluated based on their marks in these exams. Qualifying entrance examinations is a mandatory process to get admission in top colleges of India. Some colleges also prefer other alternatives entrance tests. A candidate is granted admission based on their academic qualifications.
Admission to the B.Tech programme
Students can apply for B.Tech in Thermal Engineering if they qualify JEE MAIN and the minimum eligibility criteria that is 10+2 must be completed
Admission to the M.Tech programme
Admission to the M.Tech programme are required to appear the postgraduate level entrance examination. Admission to the M.Tech programme will be done on the basis of GATE exam that student must appear and have a scorecard of GATE exam to apply for admission.
Some institution are conducting separate entrance exam for M.Tech program. If student wants to get admission in IITs, then they have to clear both JEE MAIN and JEE Advanced exam. Students can appear in the examination as per their preferences.
