National Testing Agency (NTA) has released a notification stating about the fake public notice that has been circulating in the social media regarding the re-scheduling of the JEE Main 2020 exam to be conducted in the 1st week of July.
NTA clarifies to the aspirants that there is no truth in this fake notice. The official notification also reads, "The NTA will also take strict action by filing an FIR under relevant provisions of the IT Act and IPC against those unscrupulous elements who are creating and circulating such false information to mislead the candidates."

With the extension of the lockdown till 3rd May 2020, such fake notices are being circulated in various social media platforms which exploit the anxiety of students over delayed exams and admissions.
JEE Main was recently rescheduled to the last week of May 2020, as declared by NTA. The application form correction deadline along with the option to change the city centre was also extended to 3rd May.
