Admission Process:
The Application and the admission process are varies in the forensic science course. candidates can join BSc in forensic Science as wall as in can do PG in this subjects too. so the admission process varies according to the course.
For admission in UG courses/ BSc in Forensic Science:
After completing the 10+2 with minimum of 55% aggregates with a recognized university. The candidates must have the subjects like PCMB (Physics, Chemistry, Math and Biology). Most of the Forensic school and colleges gives the direct admission where as the some gives admission through the entrance exam.The candidates can directly fill the application form of the college then have to be crack the entrance exam taken by the university. after the entrance exam the counselling process will be starts according to the merits list. after the admission candidates can attend for the classes.
For the admission PG / MSc in Forensic Science:
For the admission in PG course of forensic science candidates must have passed the BSc with a minimum marks of 55% or equivalents degree like Engineering, Pharmacy, Criminology, Forensic Science and Science are eligible to pursue this course. There are certain governments and privets institutes in India which providing MSc in Forensic Science. the candidates can go admission through this colleges according to the merit list. the merit list are prepared based on the marks obtained by the candidates.
For the admission in PhD courses:
To get the admission in the PhD courses. candidates should having the PG degree in relevant subjects with minimum marks of 55%. Then candidates have to clear the NET entrance for the admission in PhD. There are some central institutes which providing a top research and developments program.
