Admit card out: MICAT 2017

MICA Ahmedabad has going to conduct MITCAT 2017 on December 11. The registration process, which was started from September, ended on November 27, 2016. 

MICA Ahmedabad has released the admit card of MICAT -I from December 2, 2016, 6:20 pm onwards.

MICAT will be conducted in 2 phases. Along with the dates of MICAT-I, the officials have also announced the schedule for MICAT-II. The second test of MICAT will be conducted on February 12.

MICAT admit card 2017 will be available in online mode only. MICAT 2017 aspirants must note that the officials will not send hard copy of admit card/call letter.
How to download admit card:

·Log-in using registered id and password
·Click on the "Login" button
·MICAT 2017 admit card/call letter will appear on  screen
·Print or download admit card for future use

Any candidate who fails to download the MICAT admit card 2017 and present the same at the time of the test, she/he will not be allowed to appear in the MICAT 2017. Along with the MICAT 2017 admit card, students are also required to carry a photo identity card for authorization of the hall ticket.
The admit card is also required at the time of MICAT selection procedure. The shortlisted candidates would be required to submit the admit card at the time of the selection procedure along with other documents.

Selection process:

The selection process consists of the following steps:

• Step I: CAT 2016, XAT 2017 and GMAT (2015 onwards). Each candidate has to take at least one of the three exams: CAT 2016, XAT 2017 and GMAT (2015 onwards)

• Step II: MICA Admission Test (MICAT):  All the candidates are assessed on MICAT which consists of 6 sections: Psychometric (P), Verbal ability (VA), Quantitative ability (QA), General awareness (GA) , Divergent-Convergent Reasoning (DCR) and Descriptive Test (DT).

• Step III: All the candidates shortlisted after MICAT shall appear for both GE and PI.

About MICA:

Set up in 1991, MICA was formerly known as the Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad. It is the only residential institute in the country dedicated to creating leadership in strategic marketing and communication.

MICAT is a Computer Based Test (CBT) and will be conducted twice for selection of PGDM-C 2017-2019 batch. In the test, MICA will assess candidates based on 6 sections: Psychometric (P), Verbal ability (VA), Quantitative ability (QA), General awareness (GA), Divergent-Convergent Reasoning (DCR) and Descriptive Test (DT). MICAT will be held across 27 cities, which is increased compared to last year’s 14 test cities.

MICA conducts MICAT for selecting candidates to its 180 seats in the two-year Post Graduate Diploma in Management – Communications (PGDM-C).
