The e-admit cards for the civil services 2020 preliminary exam will be held on 4th October. This was announced by the Union Public Service Commission. This exam was scheduled to be held on 31st May earlier but now has been postponed due to Coronavirus
The candidates who have already registered for this exam can download the admit card from the official website- upsc.gov.in.

How to download UPSC preliminary admit card
The candidate will need to visit the UPSC official website https://upsconline.nic.in. Next, they need to put in their roll number. After that, they will be asked to enter the registration ID and their birth date along with a Captcha code. The admit card will be displayed on the screen.
Important details like name, exam center address, roll number of the student, exam schedule of IAS, candidates’ instructions, and others will be mentioned in the hall ticket.
Without the e-admit card, the candidates will not be allowed to sit for the exam. They must also carry original photo identity proof. The e-admit cards must be saved with the candidates until the results of the exam come out.

Candidates who will qualify in the preliminary Civil Services exam will next appear for the main exam on 8th January 2021.
