NMIMS Hyderabad has signed an agreement to collaboratIon with FCCI Telangana and AP State Council. A Letter of Intent(LOL) was signed on 26th February between NMIMS and FCCI for research activities for the development of the industry and academic regions of Telangana and Andrapradesh which to be undertaken by both entities. The main purpose of the collaboration between NMIMS and FCCI is to set up the FCCI-NMIMS Hyderabad center for Indian Business.
During the Letter of Intent(Lol) signing program Mr. Akhilesh Mahurkar, Director of FICCI AP & Telangana State Council has discussed the academic collaboration for Industrial development with the faculty & staff of NMIMS Hyderabad. He discussed different areas for industrial development such as Agri & Food processing, Handloom & Handicrafts, tourism & hospitality, Yoga & wellness.
During this program, Dr. Tapan Kumar Panda, Director of NMIMS Hyderabad has also said about the importance of collaboration. He said, "NMIMS Hyderabad is proud to have this partnership. This would further strengthen our relationship among industry partners in days to come”. On this occasion, the Letter of Intent (LOL) has signed in the presence of Senior Faculty members, FICCI representative, and Deputy Director of NMIMS Hyderabad.
