Combined Defense Service examination phase 2 result is declared by the Union Public Service Commission for OTA on 2nd November. Candidates can check their result from the official website, www.upsc.nic.in. the name of all the qualified candidates will be displayed in the UPSC CDS result in 2020 notice along with their roll numbers. Applicants who will be on the CDS merit list will be commissioned as Officers in Indian Defense Forces.

Union Public Service Commission has conducted the CDS exam on 8th September 2019 through offline mode. The result of the CDS 2 result 2020 was released on 1st September for IMA.
Candidates who have appeared the examination can check their results by following the steps mentioned below.
How To Download CDS 2 2020 Result
- To check your CDS result visit the official website of UPSC, upsc.gov.in
- Then click on the “Final Results” tab displaying on the screen.
- Now tap the CDS 2 2019 result link.
- Then here you can check the CDS 2 final result and also download it for future reference.
The candidates who have managed to qualify for the written examination should have to register themselves online at the Indian Army Recruiting website joinindianarmy.nic.in within two weeks from the date, the result of the written exam announced. After that, you will be invited to the Selection Centers and you will be provided the dates for your SSB interview. The candidate who has already registered before, will not be required to do again. Then some selected candidates will get change for admission to Officers Training Academy for 112th Short Service Commission for men and Officers Training Academy and 26th Short Service Commission Women (Non-Technical) Course. The merit list of the 112th Short Service Commission (SSC) course for men also contains the names of candidates who were recommended on CDS results for admission to Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy, Air Force Academy. The marks secured in the medical test will not be taken into consideration. The marks secured by the candidates will be available within 15 days from the date when the final result is declared.
