NHPC Recruitment 2020 Opens With 86 vacancies for trainee engineers and officers

NHPC or The National Hydroelectric Power Corporation have issued an advertisement on their official website for recruiting Trainee engineers and Trainee officers. 

The candidates will be shortlisted for the different posts on the basis of their scores that they scored in GATE, NET, CLAT, and CA or CMA exam 2020. The candidates will be selected provisionally and will be given a provisional “Offer of Appointment”. The process for online registration will begin on August 29, 2020.

The recruitment drive is conducted to fill the 86 vacancies in the organization. Out of this, 30 vacancies are for the post of Trainee Engineer (Civil), 22 for the post of trainee Officer (Finance), 21 for Trainee Engineer (Mechanical), 8 for Trainee Officer (Law), and 5 for Trainee Officer (HR).
Educational Qualification:

Trainee Engineer: Candidates must have passed a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or B.Sc. (Engineering) Degree in similar discipline with at least 60 percent marks.

Trainee Officer (HR): Candidates with a postgraduate degree or PG Diploma in human resources or social work or in a related discipline can apply for this post. 

Trainee Officer (Law): Candidate must have secured a minimum of 60% marks and be a law graduate.

Trainee Officer (Finance): Graduates from ICWA or ICAI with CA or have obtained a CMA degree from the Institute of Cost Accountants of India.

How to apply:

A candidate will have to log in to www.nhpcindia.com and click on the career option. Then they will have to read the instructions and fill the application form. Scanned copies of various documents like secondary school certificate for birth proof, complete mark sheets set, caste certificate if any, disability certificate if any, and so on. Candidate must upload these documents in the allotted space in the form. Then one must take a print out and keep it for future reference purposes.

Candidates can apply online for the positions on or before September 28, 2020.
