Commercial Pilots Commercial pilots who primarily work for airlines that transport passengers and cargo on a fixed schedule. Commercial pilots are involved in flight activities, such as aerial application, charter flights, aerial photography, and aerial tours. 5 - 10 lakh
Co-Pilot The copilot assists the pilot during the flight, including handling the radio communications, navigation, and working with the pilot to complete the many checklists involved with flying an aircraft. The pilot may turn control over to the copilot even if the pilot doesn't leave the cockpit. 3 - 6 lakh
Chief pilots A chief pilot develops all training materials, in-flight standards, and procedures and policies. Adjust and apply all risk assessments for flights and conditions. Hire and train staff, enforcing adherence to standards. 10 - 15 lakh
Airline Pilot The job role includes creating a flight plan, considering aircraft performance, altitude and weather conditions, checking the aircraft before every flight (engines, radars, navigation systems, etc), and ensuring cargo weight doesn't exceed aircraft limits. 3 - 6 lakh
Test Pilot Test Pilots also flight test new aircraft to be sure they are up to airline standards before the airline accepts them from the manufacturer. These pilots fly FAA planes with experimental equipment aboard to test the performance of the equipment. 3 - 5 lakh
