Thakur Institute of Aviation Technology (TIAT) has been established in March 2006, primarily to cater to the need of students desirous of pursuing aviation industry. It provides the best infrastructure facilities matched by equally competent teaching faculty & a right academic ambience to make learning a delightful experience.The institute is approved by Directorate General of Civil Aviation (D.G.C.A), Govt. of India, Vide Letter No. Q3 TIAT / 1392 dated 24/03/2006, (Issue No. 01, Rev No. 03, Dated 05-12-2012) Q3 TIAT / 5814 dated 21/11/2006, Q3 TIAT / 3629 dated 17/06/2008 under category ‘G’ Training School, to impart ab-initio training in the field of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering for obtaining Basic Licence in, Mechanical Stream: Heavy Aeroplane (HA), Light Aeroplane (LA) ,Jet Engine (JE) and Piston Engine (PE) Mechanical Stream: Rotary Wing (RA), Jet Engine (JE) and Piston Engine (PE) and Avionics Stream : Electrical System (ES), Instrument System (IS) and Radio Navigation System (RN).
