Shri Govind Guru University (SGGU), Godhra, is a State University, established in the year 2015 by the Gujarat Government under the provision of Act 24/2015 and recognized by the University Grants Commission u/s 2(F) of UGC Act, 1956. The university has also recognized by many bodies such as the Indian Nursing Council, National Council for Teacher Education, Bar Council of India, and MHRD, Govt. of India. The university has the vision to develop the knowledge of different branches of Higher, Technical and Professional learning and research in relation to the different domains and their applications. The university offers various Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses in varying fields like Arts, Science, Commerce, English, Education, Law, Medical and Paramedical studies through its 133 affiliated Colleges.
