Since July 1987 Delhi Flying Club established full time Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s licence course of 3 years duration duly approved by DGCA vide letter No.- 20-86/88-AI(2) dt. 12-9-1988. The School of Aviation Science & Technology is approved for HA, JE, LA, PE and ES /IS /RN. Till date institute have recruited 25 batches. Since July 2008 the school has been approved by DGCA for implementing the Aircraft Maintenance Engineering training programme under EASA-66 under JAR-147 having 15 modules. For Mechanical stream there is 12 modules and for Avionics there is 10 Modules.
