R.M.D Engineering college

R.M.D college has a Training and Placement cell which is set up in 2004. The placement cell conducts various training programs for its students to enable the students to get employment opportunities right on the campus while they pursue their studies. They provide regular training programs to develop their soft skill capability of their students. Various top organizations have visited the campus and participate in the placement [process which is conducted by the training and placement cell department of the college. Maximum students have got placed in top position with a high packaged salary in a reputed organization. The Institute has a remarkable interaction with the top-ranking IT, Electrical, and Electronics Industries.

R.M.D Engineering college provides separate hostels for both boys and girls. In the boy's hostel, there are more than 600 students are accommodated and in the girls' hostel, there are around 400 students are accommodated. The boy's hostel has 72 rooms spread over three floors and the girls' hostel has 84 rooms spread over four floors. The hostel also provides a separate library, reading rooms, study tables to the students. They also provide dining and health care facilities to their students. Every student has to follow some basic rules and regulation which is provided by the hostel's authority.
