IIT Palakkad

Hostel

IIT Palakkad is a fully residential campus that has separate hostels for both boys and girls. There are two boys’ hostels and one girls’ hostel. Each room will have two students. Various facilities provided at the hostels are recreational rooms, indoor sporting room, fitness centre, nutritious food, drinking water and many more. The students are also provided all time security and electricity throughout the day. Hostel life is a very important part of a student’s journey and that is why the students of IIT Palakkad make sure that they enjoy every bit of the time spent at their hostels. 

Labs

The institute has various labs of various departments. There is a common computer lab that is for all students. Often the teachers conduct classes at these labs for clearer understanding of their subjects. 

Library

The library of IIT Palakkad is somewhat new but it still has almost a thousand books that the students use for their study. Along with books, there are journals and magazines too. Some students even borrow the e-books that the library provides, which otherwise the students have to buy with a lot of money. The library of IIT Palakkad has the support of national consortium E-Shodh Sindhu for fulfilling maximum journal requirements.
