IIT Mandi

Companies like HPCL, Microsoft, Amazon, CodeNation, Goldman Sachs and many others come every year to hire the best minds from IIT Mandi. The aim of the placement cell is to create every student job ready and give them emotional maturity. The placement statistic of every year is constantly increasing as the number of companies visiting the college is also rising. The students every year are very excited about the placement because the placement cell acts as a bridge between the students and their dream job.

Hostel

There are two girl’s hostels and five boy’s hostels at IIT Mandi. The girl’s hostels are separate from the boys. The fees of the hostel are also not very high and the students can easily afford it. Facilities like nutritious food, security, electricity, water supply and recreational rooms are available for the students. There is also a common room where the students can meet and talk. If the parents want to visit their children, they can meet at the common room. The hostel rooms of IIT Mandi are very spacious and there is always an environment of intellectualism. 

Labs

There are several labs like design lab, mechanical workshop, energy engineering lab, geotechnical engineering lab and many others. All these labs are used by the teachers and the students for their practical understanding of the subjects. 

Library

The central library of IIT Mandi is a very special place for the students. The library has thousands of books of various subjects including social sciences. The students can read the non-engineering books during their free time. Along with books there are also e-books, e-journals and many science and technology magazines. All these collections are bound to create an intellectual aroma in the campus.
