IIIT Agartala was established in 2018 in Tripura. It started its 1st batch in computer science and engineering in 2018. The college is being mentored by the National Institute of Technology Agartala. The Institute is collaborated with different industrial partners to implement technological innovations. It offers an undergraduate course in Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science and Engineering. The main aim of the Institute is to provide knowledge about IIITs to the students describing the culture and the environment developed by IIITians.
