Dr. BR Ambedkar National Law University was established in the year 2012 by the State Government of Haryana. It was 23rd National Law University. The university name changed from National Law University to Dr. BR Ambedkar National Law University in the memory of B.R. Ambedkar. The main objective of the university is to providing distance and regular legal education to achieve excellence in the field of law and its allied disciplines. The rule of law should be promoted through cultural, legal, and ethical values and objectives enshrined in the constitution of India. The legal knowledge and legal process and their role in national development should be disseminated by organizing seminars, lectures, conferences, and workshops.
