BS Negi Mahila Pravidhik Prashikshan Sansthan

The B.S. Negi Mahila Pravidhik Prashikshan Sansthan, popularly known as the ONGC Mahila Polytechnic was inaugurated on 27th June 1987 by Mrs. Shobhana Wahi, wife of Honorable Col. S. P. Wahi, ex- Chairman of ONGC. With Mrs. Shobhana Wahi as its patron, the Sansthan was established to meet the growing need for Vocational Training for Women of Uttarakhand and nearby states. The institute is a private, self-financed, independent and autonomous body registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860. The Sansthan is not aided by any Government or private agencies. At the onset of the establishment of the institute, there were few courses which were run in the Sansthan. However, in the present scenario, the numbers of courses have been increased in which a large number of students are getting trained under the guidance of competent and efficient faculties. The Sansthan has created a benchmark of its own and thus is the pride of Uttarakhand.
