IIT Goa

The placement cell of IIT Goa encourages every student to take up various internships so that they know what it is like to work at a company. Internships also give emotional maturity and experience to handle a job responsibly. The other roles of the placement cell of IIT Goa is to enable industry-academia collaboration, career counselling for students and ensuring that every student gets placed somewhere decent after the completion of their education. Often the students who do not go for campus placements go for higher education or even go for their own start-ups. 

The hostel facilities of IIT Goa are very nice. It is mandatory for all students to abide by the hostel rules. Various facilities like washing machine, TV room, nutritious food, water cooler, water supply, refrigerator and many others are provided to the students. The students are not allowed to misuse any of the hostel property. Parents can meet their children in the common room of the hostels. Hostel life is very enjoyable and many students have admitted that. They have said that hostel life teaches a lot about life. Places like hostels of IIT Goa always have an environment of intellectualism. 

Lab

At IIT Goa, there is a mathematics and computer lab, a lab for electrical sciences, a lab for physical science and a lab for chemical and biological sciences. Teachers often conduct their classes in these labs for practical teachings of their subjects. 

Library

The central library of IIT Goa is well equipped with all the necessary books required for educating the students in various departments. It has thousands of books and journals. The library also has several e-books and e-journals that otherwise the students have to buy from the internet. The students can hire the books anytime of the day. Many students since the inception of IIT Goa have passed with flying colours by the help of the library books of IIT Goa.
