The Training and Placement Cell has been established to act as a catalyst for the students in providing various facilities that support career decision making, exploring a diverse range of career opportunities and developing confidence and skills to choose the right career. The Placement Cell publicizes information about employment opportunities and arranges per-placement talks, written tests, group discussions, interviews etc. It provides employment opportunities through campus placements. The training and placement cell is committed to providing all possible assistance to the students in their efforts to find employment.

The sprawling campus of Gangadhar Meher University stretches over an area of 49.2 acres. The campus boasts of 04 hostels for boys and 03 for girls to accommodate about 550 boys and 450 girls, respectively. Hostel life in GMU is a pleasant and memorable experience. The boarders of all classes and branches of study reside together and no segregation on discrimination is made among the students in this regard. It fosters the spirit of camaraderie and togetherness among all the inmates irrespective of their age or seniority.
