Dasmesh Institute of Research and Dental Sciences, Faridkot (DIRDS) was established in year 1992 by Sangat Sahib Bhai Pheru Sikh (SSBPS) Educational Society under the chairmanship of distinguished political leader, philanthropist, educationist and social worker, S. Karnail Singh Singh Doad Ex. MLA, Faridkot, Government of Punjab, with a vision to facilitate quality Dental health care & education of global standards. In the year 2105, because of his health related issues he nominated S.Gurdev Singh Brar IAS (Retd), as new president of Sangat Sahib Bhai Pheru Sikh Educational Society. Dr.Gursewak singh, Vice president SSBPSES & Director DIRDS, he is attached with this institution from day one and put his soul efforts for the growth and development of this institution. His vision towards the quality academics is exemplary and his guidance further made this institution in reaching the current global standards. Also the commitment, dedication & vision of other eminent board members of SSBPSES have shaped DIRDS into a premier Dental College of Northern India.
