The Birla Institute of Technology & Science, BITS Pilani was established in 1964 as institute which focusing on more graduate engineering needs in India. This university was christened as the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, known to many as BITS, Pilani. BITS motivate students to study truly and creates opportunity for them in this increasing demand in market. It is the first Indian university which has a campus in Dubai with an overseas campus.
