NEET PG Counselling 2020 Reporting to colleges to end tomorrow i,e. 24th April. Earlier due to COVID-19 Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has extended the last date to report at the institute allotted to a student after first round of NEET PG counselling up to April 24. The NEET PG 2020 counselling result was announced on April 10, 2020. The Counselling Committee is allowing online reporting for students who will not be able to do so in person. The special provision has been made to enable students take admission during the lockdown.By opting online reporting candidates are required to send a confirmation email regarding acceptance of seat and uploading scanned copies of relevant documents.
"All candidates will be automatically considered willing for upgradation to Round-2. However, the candidates will be upgraded subject to exercise of fresh choices in Round-2 by the candidate and as per inter se merit, as and when it is feasible to conduct Round-2 of counselling," said a previous notice issued by MCC.
Now, the MCC has included all the candidates by default for upgradation in the Round-2. Those who do not wish to upgrade the seat allotted to them in Round-1, should not fill fresh choices during choice filling of Round-2. Consequently, their Round-1 seat will be retained.
Those who are not satisfied with their current allotment and want to upgrade their seat in Round-2 should fill fresh choices when the MCC portal opens for Round-2.

After announcing the result of NEET PG/MDS Result on April 10, 2020 the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), On April 11, 2020, has issued the seat allotment letter of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate/MDS (NEET PG/MDS). The allotment letter can be downloaded by all shortlisted aspirants who have secured a seat in the first round of NEET PG/MDS 2020 counseling. A seat allotment letter is a mandatory document to carry while reporting to the allotted colleges/institution for admission.

What is NEET PG seat Allotment?
NEET PG/MDS seat allotment result will be published online. Candidates who have registered for counseling can check it from the official website of MCC. Seats will be issued only to the candidates who have registered and submitted the application fee.
NEET PG is a national level entrance test conducted every year for the screening of candidates for admission to MD/MS and post-graduate diploma courses in various medical and dental universities and colleges across the country. NEET PG is conducted by The National Board of Examination (NBE) whereas counseling is conducted by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). NEET PG 2020 was conducted on 5th January and its result was published on 30th March 2020.

NEET PG Counselling 2020: Impact of COVID-19 on Reporting Phase
Due to the spread of novel coronavirus, many candidates will not be able to physically report to the respective institutes. Understanding this concern, MCC has given the option of online reporting for NEET PG 2020 counselling this year. Both online and offline modes of the reporting phase have been explained below.
Physical Reporting: Candidate reports to the allocated institute in person along with all the documents (in original). He/she deposits the fee and starts duties.
Online Reporting: Candidate sends an email confirmation to the official email ID of the respective institute. He/she also has to attach copies of the required documents online and pay the requisite fee online.
Candidates are requested to to proceed for Physical/ Online Reporting (E-Joining) to the allotted college from 13th April, 2020 onwards after downloading their allotted letters.
