IIT Bhubaneswar takes lead in collaborating with Foreign Institutes through SPARC
It's a great moment for IIT Bhubaneswar as it has taken the lead to collaborate with the Foreign Institute through SPARC- "The Scheme for Promotion of Academic and Research collaborations". Thus this program is considered to be one of the ambitious programs as it aims at further improving the academic and research collaborations between Indian Institutions and the best of institutions in the world to jointly solve problems of national and/or international relevance.
So what does SPARC offers?
The scheme plans to support about 600 such joint collaborations across 100 Indian Institutions over a period of two years. Also, The salient features of SPARC initiative are visits and long-term stay of top international faculty/researchers in Indian institutions to pursue teaching and research and visits by Indian students for training and experimentation in premier laboratories worldwide.

And IIT Bhubaneswar got approval for as many as eleven research programmes out of twenty-five submitted. Hence, this is a very good initiative taken by the Institution which would help to shape the Education system further. As by this many students will get the chance to do their research work in any foreign universities they wish for.
