Aadhar card is not mandatory says NTA: JEE Main 2019

National Testing Agency declared that the 12 digit Aadhar card number is not mandatory for registering for JEE Main 2019 exam.The registration process will end on 30th September, 2018. NTA has declared this after there was some queries about mandatory filling of Aadhar card number in the registration process. NTA also said the online Application form which is being filled in currently also clearly provides for entering any valid government identity number. The registration process for both JEE Main 2019 and UGC NET 2018 will be held on the official website of NTA.

Joint Entrance Exam 2019 registration process will start from 1st September, 2018. The exam will be conducted by NTA twice a year and the exam schedule and other details like eligibility criteria will be available on their official website. The National Test Agency (NTA) has started online application process for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main January 2019 on September 1, 2018.  JEE Main 2019 will be conducted twice in a year by NTA. If a candidate appears in both the tests, the better of the two scores will be used for the admissions and eligibility for JEE Advanced 2019.
