SRMJEEE 2022

SRMJEEE or SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Exam is a University level entrance test conducted by SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) for admission to undergraduate B.tech programs offered at SRM campuses across Chennai, Haryana, and Andhra Pradesh. SRMJEEE is a university-level computer-based (online) test.

SRMJEEE 2022 Schedule

SRMJEEE is a university-level entrance exam organized to get admissions in engineering courses. It is a common entrance examination for all SRM group universities. SRMJEEE 2022 Admit Card:

The admit card for SRMJEEE 2022 will be available after the completion of the application form. Those candidates who have registered themselves successfully for the entrance exam on or before the due date will only get the admit card. It is mandatory for the students to carry the admit card to the exam hall. After downloading the admit card the aspirants should check the details mentioned in the admit card. If any kind of fault is found then the aspirant should raise a complaint against the same to the organizing authority.

  3. Select the subject combination, exam date, and city of the exam (as filled in the application form)

The syllabus of the SRMJEEE is published along with the exam brochure. It can be downloaded from the official website of the SRM Institute of Science and Technology. The syllabus is published to provide proper knowledge of the examination syllabus, It generally provides a list of important subjects and their important chapters that will be asked in the questionnaire. Unit 5 Algebra

Binomial theorem and its Applications: Binomial theorem for a positive integral index; general term and middle term; Binomial theorem for any index. Properties of binomial coefficients. Simple applications for approximations. Sequences and Series: Arithmetic, geometric and harmonic progressions.Insertion of arithmetic, geometric and harmonic means between two given numbers. The relation between A.M., G.M. and H.M. arithmetic, geometric series, exponential and logarithmic series.

Unit 6

Differential Calculus and its

Applications

Polynomials, rational, trigonometric, logarithmic and exponential functions. Inverse functions. Graphs of simple functions. Limits, continuity, differentiation of the sum, difference, product and quotient of two functions, differentiation of trigonometric, inverse trigonometric, logarithmic, exponential, composite and implicit functions, derivatives of order up to two. Applications of Differential Calculus: Rate of change of quantities, monotonic–increasing and decreasing functions, maxima, and minima of functions of one variable, tangents, and normals, Rolle’s and Lagrange’s mean value theorems. Ordinary differential equations, their order, and degree. Formation of differential equations. The solution of differential equations by the method of separation of variables. Unit 7 Integral Calculus and its Applications

Integral as an anti-derivative. Fundamental integrals involving algebraic, trigonometric, exponential and logarithmic functions. Integration by substitution, by parts, and by partial fractions. Integration using trigonometric identities. Integral as limit of a sum. Properties of definite integrals. Evaluation of definite integrals; Determining areas of the regions bounded by simple curves.

Unit 8 Analytical Geometry

Straight Lines in Two Dimensions: Cartesian system of rectangular co-ordinates in-plane, distance formula, area of a triangle, condition for the collinearity of three points and section formula, centroid and incentre of a triangle, locus and its equation, translation of axes, the slope of a line, parallel and perpendicular lines, intercepts of a line on the coordinate axes. Circles in Two Dimensions: Standard form of the equation of a circle, the general form of the equation of a circle, its radius and centre, equation of a circle in the parametric form, equation of a circle when the endpoints of a diameter are given, points of intersection of a line and a circle with the centre at the origin and condition for a line to be tangent to the circle.

Unit 9 Vector Algebra

Vectors and scalars, the addition of vectors, components of a vector in two dimensions and three-dimensional space, scalar and vector products, scalar and vector triple product. Application of vectors to plane geometry.

Distribution

Measures of Central Tendency and Dispersion: Calculation of mean, median, and mode of grouped and ungrouped data. Calculation of standard deviation, variance and mean deviation for grouped and ungrouped data. Probability: Probability of an event addition and multiplication theorems of probability and their applications; Conditional probability; Baye’s theorem, the probability distribution of a random variable; binomial and Poisson distributions and their properties.

Unit 11 Trigonometry

Steps of SRMJEEE 2022 Counselling Procedure:

The institute will conduct the counselling of SRMJEEE 2022 by using the following procedure:

Step 1: Registration and payment of tuition fees – Candidates will have to register, fill their choice of colleges and courses and pay the tuition fees of Rs 1,10,000 (inclusive of Rs 10,000 of registration fees and part of first-year tuition fees) through an E-pay facility or through Demand Draft drawn in favour of “SRMIST” payable at Chennai.

Step 2: Reporting at the institute allotted – Following the fee payment, candidates will have to report to the institute on the date and time allotted as mentioned in the call letter. Candidates will be called for counselling according to their ranks in the merit list prepared by the institute. There will be different counselling schedule for different SRM campuses.

Step 3: Allotment of seats – Candidates who will be allotted seats on the basis of choice filling, merit and availability of seats will be given a provisional allotment letter. After receiving the letter, candidates will have to pay the remaining tuition fees within the time period given, otherwise, their admission will be cancelled.

A: No, Diploma holders are not allowed for SRMJEEE.

A: No, there is no such relaxation for the reserved category in SRMJEEE.

Q: Is Aadhar card is mandatory for SRMJEEE as identIty proof?
A: No, Aadhar card is not mandatory. If you have a valid admit card and the photograph issued by SRMJEEE then it is enough to attend the exam.

Q: Is SRMJEEE posses negative marking for wrong answers?
A: No, there is no negative marking in SRMJEEE and you will get 3 marks for every right answer.

Q: Which are the international test centres chosen by SRMJEEE?
A: There are only 5 international centres where SRMJEEE will be conducted and that are Kuwait, Bahrain, Duha, Dubai, and Muskat.
