BCECE 2021 (Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination) is conducted by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) authorities.The candidates will be able to fulfill all the related formalities by registering themselves online. The candidates will have to register themselves so as to apply for the various courses under the BCECE and also the ones that are governed by the board authorities.

BCECE 2021 Schedule: 

The schedule for the BCECE will be published online on its official website. The students are requested to kindly have a proper glance at the official schedule. Proper knowledge of the schedule is important for the students for not to get confused with the dates and to avoid the last moment rush.

BCECE 2021 ADMIT CARD:

The candidates will be getting their admit cards as soon as the application process will get over successfully. The Admit card 2021 will be released through the online method whereas the candidates will be able to download the same by visiting the official website. The admit card will be provided to all those candidates who will be able to submit their application forms on time.
It is also requested to all the candidates that they should be carrying their admit card on the day of the examination, as no candidate will be allowed to enter the examination center without the admit card. The candidates should be checking their admit card before downloading the same. If any of the candidates find an error in the admit card then they can approach to the controller of the examination so as to rectify the mistake, if the mistake isn’t rectified the candidature of the candidate might get canceled.

  • Click on the link BCECE 2021 Admit Card.
  • Login by entering registration number and date of birth.
  • Verify all the details printed on the admit card
  • Download and print admit card.
  • Take multiple printouts of admit card for further use.

Note: Candidates are advised to keep their admit card safe till the admission process is over.

BCECE 2021 SYLLABUS:

The official conducting body of BCECE will be published the syllabus on their official website, further if there is a change in the syllabus, then the same will also be notified to the students through its official website.  Proper preparation requires proper knowledge of syllabus so, the students are requested to go through the properly for their preparation process. The detailed syllabus for the BCECE 2021 is mentioned below:

BCECE 2021 EXAM PATTERN

Candidates who will be appearing for the examination are requested to refer the examination pattern. Examination pattern will be providing the candidates with a guideline to work accordingly.

Exam Duration Total 1.5 hours (90 minutes) will be provided for each section
Exam Mode The entrance test will be organized through offline mode
Type of Questions Multiple choice questions will be asked in the examination
Subjects mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology and agricultural science
Number of Question 400 (Total 100 questions will be asked from each subject)
Marking Scheme 4 marks will be given for each correct answer
Negative Marking 1 mark will be deducted for wrong answer

BCECE 2021 CUT-OFF:

BCECE Cut Off 2021 will be published through online mode i.e. on its official website. The BCECE also was known as Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination, and this examination is the state level examination organized by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) to provide admission to the applicants in Engineering, Technology, Agriculture & other fields in Bihar State. The students who qualify with the cut-off marks will be invited for the counselling process.
There are many factors that affect the cut-off range such as :

  • Number of students appearing in the examination.
  • Number of available seats in the college
  • Average score of students 
  • Previous year Cut-offs.

BCECE APPLICATION FORM:

BCECE Application Form 2021 will be available in online mode. The candidates who want to take admission in B.E./B.Tech, B.Arch and B.Pharma courses can apply for BCECE 2021 before the last date of application. Candidates can obtain BCECE 2021 application form through Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Exam Board (BCECEB) official website only. After filling up the online application form of BCECE 2021, candidates need to download it and keep it safe with them for future references at the time of counselling etc.
Candidates can apply for Engineering/Pharmacy/Medical/Agriculture courses with BCECE application form 2021. They can select the stream from three course group i.e. Engineering &Technology/Pharmacy, Medical and Agriculture. Candidate can pay the application fee for BCECE 2021 either in online mode or using NEFT challan at any bank. The application fee for each group is different. 

Steps of Application:

Step 1: Online registration
Candidates first need to complete BCECE Registration 2021 with their primary details. For this they need to –
Visit the official website of BCECE Board
Click on ‘Apply for BCECE-2021’ link
Enter details as required i.e. Course Group, Name of Candidate, E-mail address, Category, Phone Number, set a password and click on 'register' button.
Once submitting, a BCECE registration number will be sent on your e-mail id and mobile number as registered.

Step 2: Filling up BCECE application form with personal information
Candidates can now use BCECE login details i.e. registration number and password to fill up their personal information such as parents’ name, family income, reservation quota and other details.

Step 3: Uploading Photograph and Signature
Candidates need to upload a scanned copy of recent photograph and signature as under –

Photograph Specifications:

  • Taken in the admission year only
  • Can be coloured or black and white
  • Ideally 3.5x4.5 cm
  • Size not more than 100 KB
  • JPEG/JPG format only
  • Mention Name and Date at the bottom of the photo

Signature Specifications:

  • Either in Hindi or English, no other language
  • Should use Black or Blue Ink only
  • Size not more than 100 KB
  • JPEG/JPG format only
  • No capital letters allowed
  • File size less than 100 KB only

Step 4: Filling Educational Information
After uploading the documents, candidates can proceed to fill their academic qualification details such as Class 10th marks, Class 12th marks, Name of Education Board, School, year of passing the qualifying examination etc.

Step 5: Preview BCECE Application Form 2021
Candidates can take a look at filled in application form before proceeding to next step of BCECE application. In this step, if they find any mistake or incorrect information then they can edit/modify it here itself, if not then proceed to next step by clicking on ‘Submit & Next’ button.

Step 6: Fee Payment
Candidates can pay BCECE application fee either in online mode using Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking options or in offline mode using NEFT Challan and depositing at any nationalised bank

Step 7: Submitting BCECE Application Form
After making the application fee payment successfully, the same will be updated in BCECE application form. In case of online fee payment, the application fee status will be updated as ‘paid’ on the same day itself. While in case of NEFT Challan payment, the status will be updated in a day or two working days.
Once, the fee payment status is updated, candidates can finally submit BCECE application form 2021. Candidates need to download the application form Part A and Part B and keep it safe with themselves as it will be required during various stages of admission.

BCECE 2021 COUNSELLING:

A merit list will be prepared by candidate’s score marks in the Entrance exam. Candidates whose name will appear in merit list they will be invited for the interview round.

BCECE Counselling includes the following 6 steps:

Online registration:
BCECE Counselling commences with online registration during which aspirants are required to register themselves on the Counselling portal by entering their BCECE Roll Number, Name, Father's Name and Date of Birth. Besides this, aspirants will also have to enter other details. 

Online option entry/ choice filling and locking of choices:
Now aspirants need to log in with their BCECE roll number and password. After logging in, candidates will be required to choose from the options available and lock the same. After this, aspirants need to take a printout of the filled in options for all future references.

Provisional seat allotment:
At the third step, aspirants need to log in again and check their seat allotment status. Students will be issued a provisional seat allotment letter which will have the counselling venue and other details. Aspirants will be required to take a print out of the provisional seat allotment letter.

Handwriting verification:
At this stage, aspirants handwriting specimen will be taken which be compared to the candidate’s handwriting on OMR answer sheets.

Final BCECE seat allotment:
This step will require students to login again to check final seat allotment for BCECE. Candidates are advised to take a printout of final seat allotment letter. For their admission to allotted college, candidates need to report to the college specified in the final allotment letter. At the venue, they need to participate in document verification process and also pay the admission fee.

Document verification and admission:

  • Students need to be present at the college they are allotted to on the date specified on allotment letter. They need to carry along the following documents in original along with a set of photocopies.
  • Final BCECE Seat Allotment Letter
  • Class 10th or equivalent exam admit card, mark sheet and provisional certificate
  • ISc or equivalent exam admit card, mark sheet and passing certificate
  • A certificate mentioning the subjects and clearly stating that result of this examination has not been announced by the Principal of the Institution Concerned. (in case of candidates appearing in the qualifying examination)
  • BCECE Admit Card
  • Six photographs (identical/ matching to the photographs used in BCECE Admit Card).
  • Caste Certificate to be obtained from Concerned C.O. countersigned by DM or SDO (Civil) of permanent residence. (if applicable)
  • Annual Income Certificate to be obtained from Concerned C.O. countersigned by DM or SDO (Civil) of permanent residence. (if applicable)
  • Self-attested latest photographs of the candidate.
  • Part-A of Application Form properly filled in by the candidate along with photograph pasted on it.
  • Domicile Certificate to be obtained from Concerned C.O. countersigned by DM or SDO (Civil) of permanent residence.
  • Character Certificate to be obtained from the Head of the Institution last attended.
  • Certificate for Disabled Quota (if applicable)
  • Certificate for Serviceman's Quota (SMQ) mentioning the relationship with the candidate (if applicable)
  • Certificate showing that candidate's parent is an employee of UNO and is posted at present in Bihar. (if applicable)
  • Certificate showing that candidate's parent is a Govt. of India or any PSU employee and is posted in Bihar. (if applicable)
  • Certificate showing that candidate's parent is a Govt. of Bihar employee. (if applicable)
  • Refugee Registration Certificate to be obtained from Concerned DM or ADM authorised by DM or Refugee Registration Officer.
  • Certificate for candidates who have not studied from Bihar but claim to be a citizen for 10 years or more in respect of their parents from the Principal of the Institution from where they are studying for the qualifying examination indicating the Permanent Address as recorded in the Admission Register of that institute.
  • Counselling Call Letter of BCECE
  • Medical Certificate 

BCECE 2021 Result:

The result will be announced on the official website of the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board. Candidates have to use their login details to check the BCECE 2021 result. The board release a particular merit list for the candidates who have registered themselves and the names shall be enlisted in the ascending order as per their ranking secured in the concerned entrances.
Eligible candidates are called for the further process of counseling and admission process. Candidates must note that the result is not sent via post. It issues only on the University website, www.bceceboard.bihar.gov.in. Candidates should keep a printed copy of the result as it will be required during the admission process.

BCECE 2021 ANSWER KEY:

BCECE 2021 Answer Key will be released via online mode after the entrance exam. BCECE is one of the popular competitive entrance examinations of Bihar conducted every year in two stages for admission in the professional courses of Pharmacy, Agriculture & other courses. After the conduct of BCECE 2021, the board will release the answer key.
The main objective behind the publication of answer key is to assist the students with the correct answers so that they can check their performance and estimate their scores before the declaration of result. The candidate will be Allotted +4 marks for every correct answer and deduct -1 mark for incorrect response.
The expected score calculated by the candidate with the help of answer key enables them to determine the chances of admission in the preferred college.

BCECE 2021 Eligibility:

Candidates taking BCECE 2021 for admission to undergraduate courses in engineering, architecture, medical and agriculture streams need to fulfill certain requirements set by BCECE Board. Candidates should fulfill the BCECE eligibility criteria 2021 including educational qualifications, age limit, domicile requirements etc. Moreover, candidates are advised to check eligibility criteria of BCECE 2021 before applying for admissions.
BCECE Eligibility 2021 is specific for the streams i.e. Engineering & Technology and Architecture, Medical, and Agriculture such as group of subjects at Class 12th level, minimum qualifying marks as well as age limit.

Eligibility Criteria 2021:

  • Aspirants must be an Indian National.
  • Candidates should be a resident of Bihar.
  • Aspirants should complete 17 years of age on December 31 of the admission year.
  • Aspirants should have passed the necessary subject according to their group - PCM/Biotechnology, Biology and Technical vocational subject with a minimum of 45% marks(40% for reserved candidates).
  • Aspirants in their final year can also appear.
