AIPGDEE is also known as All India Post Graduate Dental Entrance Examination it is a national level entrance examination. 

AIPGDEE is conducted for the admissions against a total quota of about 50% of the total seats in Top Dental Colleges in India except for Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Jammu & Kashmir in which dental studies are being taught.

Schedule:

It is very important for the students to check the official schedule so as to avoid any confusion in dates. The students can check table given below or the official website for the latest schedule of AIPGDEE (All India Post Graduate Dental Entrance Examination) 2021. The schedule consists of the important dates of registration opening and closing, exam, result declaration, counselling, etc. If there is any change in the schedule then, the conducting authority of the exam, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi will notify it on the official website, the same will also be notified here. 

Admit Card:


1- The candidates have to get them online as it will not be sent by post or mail. The students won’t be allowed entry into the examination hall without an admit card.
2- In case any candidate loses his/her admit card before the exam, he/she can contact the exam conducting authorities for a duplicate card.
3- Candidates must carry a valid AIPGDEE 20121 Admit card in the AIPGDEE 2021 examination center. In case he/she fails to carry the admit card to the AIPGDEE 2019 exam hall, his/her AIPGDEE 2019 test will be cancelled. 
5- The office in charge of the AIPGDEE 2021 must be contacted in case of any discrepancy with the AIPGDEE 2021 Admit Card, as it is a required document for giving the AIPGDEE 2021 examination.
6- Only after the verification of the eligibility of the candidate will he/she be considered for AIPGDEE 2021 admission/selection.
7- Colored passport size of the candidate is required to be stuck on the AIPGDEE 2021 Admit Card and given to the invigilator in charge at the AIPGDEE 2021 examination center.
8- Admit card will be checked by the invigilator at the venue for AIPGDEE 2021 examination.
Note: Candidates should check the status of their AIPGDEE 2021 Admit Card on the official website of AIIMS. In case the Admit card is not available on the official website, then they should immediately get in touch with the Assistant Controller of Examinations, AIIMS, New Delhi.
The candidates are required to send an email in this respect to exams.ac@gmail.com with all the particulars of the Registration of Application Form.

Admit Card Details for AIPGDEE 2021:
AIPGDEE 2021 Admit Card contains details such as:
1- Name of the candidate
2- AIPGDEE 2021 roll number of the candidate

Instructions for AIPGDEE 2021 Examination:
1- The printout of the Admit Card for the AIPGDEE 2021 examination must be clear.
2- Tampering with the Admit card for AIPGDEE 2021 in any form will not be tolerated. This will lead to the cancellation of the Admit Card and candidate will be disqualified.
3- The photo stuck on the Admit card for AIPGDEE 2021 must a clear, recent passport-sized colour photo of the candidate.
4- Plagiarizing of the Admit Card for AIPGDEE 2021 is not tolerated.

The syllabus for the AIPGDEE 2021 entrance test for candidates seeking admission to the MDS course would be based on the syllabus of BDS Curriculum.

Exam Pattern:

AIPGDEE 2021 Exam Pattern Information:

Exam Mode: AIPGDEE 2021 will be conducted online and will be conducted in English.
Negative Marking: For every wrong answer, one mark will be deducted in the AIPGDEE2021.
Marking Scheme: Candidates will be awarded 4 marks for the right answer in the AIPGDEE2019. Question Type: The AIPGDEE 2021 question paper will consist of 200 questions.
Exam Duration: The Candidates will be given 3 hours to finish the AIPGDEE 2019.                                                                                                         

AIPGDEE 2021 Preparation Tips:
1- Candidates appearing for AIPGDEE 2021 are advised to check the preparation tips suggested by some of the experts and candidates who have appeared for the test before.
2- Revise the course thoroughly.
3- Candidates should focus on understanding and remembering the applied aspects of all the topics to help in recollecting the topics.

Cut off for AIPGDEE 2021:

1- The cut-off marks for the general category candidates who have applied for AIPGDEE is 50%
2- The cut-off marks for the SC/ST and OBC candidates who have applied for is 40%.

Reservation for AIPGDEE 2021:
According to the guidelines set by the Supreme Court of India, there are rules set for reservation for AIPGDEE 2021.
1- 15% and 7.5% seats are reserved for SC and ST candidates respectively.
2- For OBC, the reservation will be valid only in those colleges which have reserved quota for OBC candidates.

For PWD category, there are two types of reservation: 
1- Type 1(3% reservation) - It is for the candidates who have disability between 50%-70% and
2- Type 2(3% reservation) - It is for the candidate which has disability between 30%-40%.

How to know the cut-off marks of AIPGDEE 2021 exam:

The APIGDEE exam cut off marks are divided into the various category. The cutoff score for All India Postgraduate Dental Entrance Exam 20121 has been released by All India Institute of Medical Sciences.

How to Register for AIPGDEE 2021:

1- Go to the official website for AIPGDEE 2021.
2- Click on the academic courses tab.
3- Select the course.4- Get the AIPGDEE ID and password by clicking on the "Register" button.
5- Fill in all the required fields in the AIPGDEE 2021 Application form.
6- Select the exam centre.
7- Upload photo, signature and thumb impression.

Documents required for AIPGDEE 2021 Admission:
1- BDS Mark Sheets of 1st, 2nd and 3rd year

Application Fee Payment for AIPGDEE 2021 Application form:
1- For GEN/OBC Category Candidates, the application form fee is INR 1000/- + Transaction Charges.
2- For SC/ST Category Candidates, the application form fee is INR 800/- + Transaction Charges.
3- Orthopaedic Physically Handicapped (OPH) candidates taking up AIPGDEE 2019 are exempted from paying application fees.
4- The fee payment for AIPGDEE 2019 will be accepted through Credit Card / Debit Card/Net Banking

Steps to fill up Application form of AIPGDEE 2021:

Step 1: Filling up the Application Form Details 
Change Password
After logging in with the credentials provided, the candidate will be required to change the password through the “Change Password” page. After the password has been changed, the candidate can login again to complete the rest of the steps of the application.The candidates should provide the basic details such as course selection, Personal Details, Contact Details, Adress Details, educational details, correspondence details etc. 

Select exam Center: 
After filling the details mentioned above the candidate will be allowed to choose only one city for the test centre. Following is the list of test cities where online AIPGDEE 2019 will be conducted:

Candidates who complete their AIPGDEE formalities will have to undergo through Application from fee Payment.

Step 4: Uploading the photograph

The registration slip for AIPGDEE 2021 is an important document containing all the details of the candidate’s application and is generated after the registration process has been completed. The candidate is required to take a print out of the registration slip and keep it safe for future purposes after completing all the above mentioned steps.

Counselling For AIPGDEE 2021:

1- The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) organizes the AIPGDEE counselling for 50% All India Quota MDS seats.
2- The AIPGDEE 2021 counselling will take place online.
3- The AIPGDEE 2021 seat allotments will take place on the basis of the ranks achieved by the candidates in the AIPGDEE.
4- Documents will also be verified during AIPGDEE 2021 counselling.
5- Candidates are required to submit all documents along with AIPGDEE 2019 Admit Card and AIPGDEE Rank Letter during AIPGDEE 2021 counselling procedure.

The 50% All India Quota online counseling for PG admissions to dental courses has the following basic steps:
Step 1: Main on-line Counseling Registration
Step 2: Choice Exercising and Locking
1- Once online registration is completed the candidate has to fill in choice of subjects/courses and colleges/institutions in order of his/her preference for the first round of AIPGDEE 2021 seat allotment.
2- Till the deadline exists and until the candidate has not locked the choices, he/she can modify the choices or the preference order.
3- Once the choices have been locked no changes can be made.
4- If the candidate does not lock the choice before the deadline, their filled choices will be automatically locked on the mentioned day and time.
5- However the candidate can take a print out of the choices filled and keep it for future reference.
6- If the candidate doesn’t register and fill the choices, he/she will not be allotted any college despite his/her rank in the AIPGDEE 2021 rank list.

Step 3: Process of Seat Allotment – Round 1
The process of seat allotment will be based on the AIPGDEE Rank list and the availability of seats in the AIPGDEE participating institutions. Once the candidates have been assigned with the courses and colleges, their result will be declared on the official website. The students have to report in the college with the required set of documents to claim their seat.

Step 4: Round 1 Result Declaration
The results of seat allotment for Round 1 will be declared in the official website.
Step 5: Reporting at the allotted Medical / Dental Institute after first round
1- In case the candidate is allotted a seat in Round 1 counseling, he/she has to complete the admission formalities in the institute within the given period and time.
2- Only then the candidate can avail the option of participating in the Round 2 counseling.
3- Besides the candidate must give the option of participating in the Round 2 while joining the allotted seat during Round 1.
4- Otherwise neither he/she will be considered for the Round 2 seat allotment process nor can he/she access the option of up-gradation of seat.

Step 6: Process of Seat Allotment - Round 2
The second round starts with a new choice filling and consecutive seat allotment.
There is no fresh registration of candidates.
Candidates who are eligible for Round 2 Counseling :
Group–I: The registered candidates who was not allotted any seat in the Round 1.
Group-II: The registered candidates, whose allotted seat is cancelled in the first round due to discrepancies in the document verification during admission. Also the candidates who have secured seat under reserved quota but have changed the category in the second round to unreserved.
Group–III: Candidates who have agreed to participate in Round 2 for up-gradation during the admission procedure of Round 1.
1- Candidates who are not eligible for Round 2 of counselling
2- Candidates who have not reported at Allotted Institute after in Round 1.
3- Candidates who have reported & withdrawn (Resigned) from counseling at Allotted Institute.
4- Candidates who became non-eligible due to change of category.
5- Candidates who have not chosen up-gradation.
6- The seat conversion from reserved to unreserved category will be processed during the Round 2.
7- The conversion of vacant reserved seats will be carried out according to the following algorithm after seat allotment during Round-2 to PH/Reserved category candidates:
ST (PH) -> ST
SC(PH) -> SC
UR (PH) -> UR
OBC(PH) -> OBC
ST -> SC
SC-> UR
There will not be any indicative allotment in 2nd round of allotment.

AIPGDEE 2021 Result is expected to be announced in December 2019. Candidates can check their AIPGDEE 2021 results on the official website of AIIMS. The result of AIPGDEE 2021 will be announced in the form of All India Rank (AIR).

AIPGDEE Result highlight 2021:
1- The result for AIPGDEE 2021 will be declared on January
2- Shortlisted candidates for AIPGDEE 2021 can download their rank letter from the website.
3- The rank letter will be available on the AIPGDEE official website one week before the AIPGDEE 2021 counselling session.
4- Two separate merit lists will be prepared for AIPGDEE 2021. One is for candidates applying for AIPGDEE 2021 under all India 50% Quota seats and the other is prepared for candidates applying for AIPGDEE 2021 under state Quota

How to check AIPGDEE 2021 Result?
1- The candidate should visit the homepage of the official website of AIPGDEE.
2- Now click on AIPGDEE 2021 Result link.
3- Now the candidate should enter the roll number and date of birth.
4- The candidates are advised to download and take a printout of the result

AIPGDEE 2021 Allotment Of Seats:
There are seats available under different quotas for admission into the MDS programme. Some seats are available for 50% All India Quota while some are present under State Quota. There are also some seats that fall under Armed Forces Dental Institution. Candidates can apply for the various seats for which they are eligible.
Separate AIPGDEE 2021 Merit Lists will be prepared for seats under various quotas. Candidates who have qualified the examination and made it to the AIPGDEE 2021 Merit List will be required to download their rank letters once it is made available on the website.
The AIPGDEE 2021 Merit List will be prepared purely on the basis of merit. Ranks will be allotted to the candidates on the basis of their performance and marks scored in AIPGDEE 2021. No other factors will be taken into consideration.

AIPGDEE 2021 Merit List:
AIPGDEE 2021 Merit Lists will be released on the official website after the declaration of AIPGDEE 2021 Results. The Merit List will contain the names of all candidates who have successfully qualified the AIPGDEE 2021 entrance examination.
Upon finding out that a candidate’s name has been included in the Merit List, he will be required to download the rank letter. The Rank Letter will be made available on the official website of AIIMS. Candidates should make sure that they download the rank letter before AIPGDEE 2021 Counselling begins. No rank letter will be sent to individual candidates by postal service.
Merit List for AIPGDEE 2021 will be prepared separately for seats under different quotas. However, no separate lists will be prepared on the basis of a candidate’s category. The final list will be made available after the result declaration.
The Merit List will be prepared purely on the basis of merit, considering the candidate’s   . It will consist of the names of the candidates, arranged according to their All India Rank (AIR) in AIPGDEE 2021.
AIPGDEE 2021 Merit List for seats under All India 50% Quota
1- The number of qualified students who will be allowed to participate in AIPGDEE 2021 Online Counselling will be 5 times the number of seats that are actually available under All India 50% Quota.
2- Only candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria will be included in the All India 50% Quota Merit List. Hence, it is important for the candidates to know whether they are eligible for admission to these seats or not.
3- In order to be eligible for admission to any postgraduate course, a candidate must obtain minimum of 50% marks in AIPGDEE 2019.
4- With respect to those candidates who belong to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Other Backward Classes (OBC), the minimum marks required is 40%.
5- For those candidates with locomotor disability of lower limbs, a minimum of 45% marks will be required.
6- A candidate, who fails to obtain the minimum eligibility marks in AIPGDEE, as stated above, will not be admitted to any PG programme for 2019.
7- For candidates with locomotor disability of lower limbs lying in the range of 50% to 70%, 3% of total seats are reserved.
8- In case any seat in this 3% quota remains unfilled, candidates with locomotor disability of lower limbs in the range of 40% to <50 will be considered, before they are included in the annual sanctioned seats for General Category candidates.
9- The reservation of seats in medical college/Institutions for respective categories will be done as per applicable laws prevailing for All India Quota.
10- An all India merit list of the eligible candidates will be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained in AIPGDEE 2019 and candidates will be admitted to MDS courses from the said merit list only.
11- The merit list prepared will be equal to the number of seats available for allotment in MDS courses under 50% All India Quotas. A waiting list equal to 4 times of the merit list will additionally be prepared as well.
12- The list of successful candidates (Merit List/ Waiting List) will then be forwarded to the Medical Counselling Committee, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India for the purpose of allotment of seats by Online Counselling.

Merit List for seats under State Quota:
1- The state level merit lists of all eligible candidates who have qualified AIPGDEE 2021 will be prepared by AIIMS, New Delhi. The list will consist of names of candidates of different states on the basis of the score obtained by them in AIPGDEE 2021.
2- This will be done based on the information filled in by the candidate in the AIPGDEE 2021 Application Form with respect to the State Code of Eligibility and Domicile.
3- The list of successful candidates from each State or Union Territory (UT) will be forwarded to the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare for onward transmission to the Directorate of Medical Education of the State/UT concerned for the purpose of allotment of seats by AIPGDEE 2021 online counselling. This entire process will be subject to applicable laws already prevailing in the State or Union Territory (UT).

Merit List for seats under Armed Forces Dental Institutions:
1- Those candidates who have opted for seats under the AFDIs will be able to participate in the AIPGDEE 2021 counselling process as well. A separate merit list for category “Armed Forces” will be prepared and provided to the Directorate General of Dental Services for admission to Armed Forces institutions.
2- This merit list will also be prepared on the basis of marks scored by the candidates in AIPGDEE 2021 and the students will be allotted All India Ranks (AIR). Candidates will be called for counselling process of AFDIs based on this merit list.

Eligibility:

Eligibility Criteria for AIPGDEE 2021
1- There are pre-announced eligibility criteria set by the University. These are obligatory norms which the aspirants must follow before filling the application form for AIPGDEE 2021.
2- If candidates eligibility does not fall under the pre-set terms and conditions for eligibility for AIPGDEE 2021 examination, their application form for AIPGDEE 2021 examination will be rejected.
3-The candidates are requested to go through the Eligibility Criteria carefully before applying for AIPGDEE 2021.

Eligibility Criteria for AIPGDEE 2021:
1- Citizenship: The desired aspirants must be a citizen of India to satisfy eligibility criteria.
2- Foreign Candidate: They can also be the overseas citizen of India Card holders.
3- Degree Holder: The applicants must have a BDS degree to their name and at least one year experience of internship to satisfy eligibility criteria.
4- However, the candidates with the internship experience would be preferred.
5- The candidates must have a provisional or permanent registration from one of the state dental councils once they pass the final BDS examination to satisfy eligibility criteria.
6- Internship: The desired candidates who are pursuing their necessary internship rotation need to finish their internship by the end of March 2021 to satisfy eligibility criteria.
7- In that case, they have to produce enough documents signed by the head of the institution that their internship commenced in April #year and will be over by the month of March 2021.
8- Not Eligible: The students who have done their BDS from the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Jammu Kashmir aren’t allowed to sit in the examination.

AIPGDEE 2021 Eligibility Criteria:
The aspirants who wish to apply for AIPGDEE 2021 should first check their eligibility. There are several criteria that need to be fulfilled to be eligible for this exam. In case a candidate fails to satisfy any of these pre-requisites, their application may be liable for rejection.
The eligibility criteria for AIGDEE 2021 are described in this section. Candidates are advised to go through these factors carefully and check whether they meet them.
1- Candidate applying for this exam must be either an Indian National or person with Indian origin or an Overseas Citizen of India.
2- Candidates should have completed a BDS degree from a Dental College recognized by the Government of India apart from obtaining a provisional or permanent registration from any of the State Dental Councils after completing the final BDS course will also be eligible if they have completed one year of Compulsory Rotating Internship in a recognized Dental College.
3- The condition of 1 year Rotating Internship would not be applicable for those candidates who have passed their final BDS Examination on or prior to 1988 and hold a BDS Degree from a Dental College recognized by the Dental Council of India and have obtained provisional or permanent registration from any of the State Dental Councils.
