  • Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi: This institute is ranked third among the medical institutes in India. For the UG course, the student will have to sit for AIPMT. This is a government medical institution. 
  • Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi: For applying to the MBBS course at this university, one needs to have completed their class 12 in the Science stream with minimum 50 percent marks. They will also have to appear for the NEET exam and qualify in the exam.
  • Armed Forces Medical College, Pune: You need to clear the NEET exam and also have passed your class 12 in the Science stream to get admission in the MBBS course in this institution. This is a full time course and has 150 seats for the students. 
  • Jamia Milia Islamia, New Delhi: This institution admits students on the basis of the NEET exam test. Apart from the NEET exam score, the institute also checks whether the student has studied science subjects in class 12. 
  • Christian Medical College: If you are interested at this medical college, you will have to pass the NEET exam and also had studied science subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics in class 12.
  • Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research Puducherry TAMIL NADU: The college admits those students who have passed the NEET exam and also successfully passed the class 12 exams in the Science stream with a minimum of fifty percent marks. 
  • Institute of Medical Sciences Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi: The university admits students on the basis of their performance in NEET exam. This is the 6th best medical college in India. The candidates must qualify in NEET as the university only admits students based on this entrance exam.

Admission Process:

The admission process for MBBS courses is done through an entrance test. To take admission into the MBBS course one needs to qualify in the NEET Examination. National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test(NEET) is conducted by NTA(National Testing Agency). Formerly It was known as AIPMT( All India Para Medical Test). The declaration of NEET result is followed by NEET counseling in which students allotted colleges according to their rank. After that, the students have to report at their allotted colleges and submit the needed documents and do the other registration procedure.

  • Most private and government medical colleges admit students based on their performances in their class 12 board exams and also on the basis of the marks obtained in the different medical entrance exams. 
  • The candidates must have completed their class 12 in Science stream with subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics.
  • The candidates who are selected based on their entrance exam scores and class 12 marks are called for counseling. 
  • The lower age limit is 17 years and the upper age limit is 25 years for applying to the MBBS courses.

The primary responsibility of anesthetists is the safe administration of anesthesia and other pain killers to their patients both before, during and post-surgery, and other major medical procedures. Positioning patients on operating tables, ensuring they are warm and comfortable.

They evaluate patients through questions, examinations, symptom reviews, and medical testing. Perform exercise tests, diagnostic image tests, cardiac catheterizations; may perform or recommend procedures like echocardiograms.

Neurologist

Neurologists are licensed medical specialists who diagnose and treat disorders that affect the brain, spinal cord, nerves and muscles of patients. They examine a patient’s mental and physical status, conduct medical tests and scans, and evaluate the results to diagnose and treat the patient.

Pathologist

Medical pathologists are usually either clinical or anatomical pathologists. Clinical pathologists mainly examine body fluids, including blood, urine and bone marrow. Anatomical pathologists analyze samples of tissue and cells to aid in determining the diagnosis and cause of diseases.
