Admission Process:
The admission process for MBBS courses is done through an entrance test. To take admission into the MBBS course one needs to qualify in the NEET Examination. National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test(NEET) is conducted by NTA(National Testing Agency). Formerly It was known as AIPMT( All India Para Medical Test). The declaration of NEET result is followed by NEET counseling in which students allotted colleges according to their rank. After that, the students have to report at their allotted colleges and submit the needed documents and do the other registration procedure.
- Most private and government medical colleges admit students based on their performances in their class 12 board exams and also on the basis of the marks obtained in the different medical entrance exams.
- The candidates must have completed their class 12 in Science stream with subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics.
- The candidates who are selected based on their entrance exam scores and class 12 marks are called for counseling.
