SAAT 2018

SAAT 2018 Application Form has been released now. Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University is a deemed to be University accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). SOA University grants admission to its various UG and PG courses on the basis of Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University Admission Test (SAAT). It is a national level examination for admission into engineering, pharmacy, law, management, etc courses. Admission into dental and medical programmes is done through NEET. SAAT Application Form 2018

The details regarding the SAAT 2018 application form is given below:

Aspirants can apply for SAAT 2018 through online mode only.

SAAT application form is available from 15th December 2017.

Before filling the application form, candidates are suggested to ensure their eligibility for the course they wish to apply.

Fill all the details carefully on the application form.

Candidates are also required to upload the scanned copy of photograph and signature.

The acknowledgment of the receipt of SAAT 2018 application will be intimated through e-mail or SMS.

Application Fee:

There is no application fee/examination fee for SAAT 2018.

Eligibility Criteria

Check the eligibility criteria of Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University for various UG and PG courses:

For UG Courses:


Qualification Eligibility


Pass/appearing in the 12th or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics (compulsory subjects) along with one of the Chemistry/Computer Science/Information Technology/ Biotechnology/Biology/Informatics/Statistics/Technical Vocational Subject or any other subject.

Candidates have to secure at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of SC/ST/OBC category) in the above examination.


10+2 passed/appearing with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM) and or Biology (PCB/ PCMB.) as optional subjects individually.

Candidates have to secure passing marks individually in all the subjects mentioned above.

B.Sc in Agriculture

Minimum qualification required is 12th passed/appearing with PCM/PCB/PCMB subjects combination. Must have passed in English 10+2 examination

Candidates have to pass the qualifying examination with not less than 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST/PH candidates).

The minimum age limit is 17 years as on 31st December 2018.


Passed/appearing 10+2 in any discipline with at least 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST/OBC candidates).


Passed/appearing 10+2 in any stream from a recognized institution.

B.Sc in Nursing (Basic)

The prescribed qualification is 12th passed/appearing with at least 45% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC) taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

Pass 12th exam with English subjects.

The lower age limit is 17 years as on 31st December 2018.

BBA.LL.B. (Hons.)

Passed/appearing 12th examination in any stream by attaining 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST & 42% for OBC).

No upper age limit.

CLAT / LSAT qualified candidates are exempted from the entrance test, but they have to fill up the form.

For PG Courses:


Qualification Eligibility


Pass/appearing in B.Tech/B.E./AMIE/MCA/M.Sc or equivalent in the respective discipline.

Candidates have to secure at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category)in the qualifying examination.

GATE qualified candidates are exempted from the entrance test, but they have to the fillup the form.

Admission into M.Tech. programmes will be done on the basis of performance in SAAT-2018 or valid GATE score.


Passed/appearing 3-years bachelor degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST/OBC candidates).

Candidates must have studied Mathematics at 10+2 or 10+2+3 level.

Candidates having Business mathematics at +2 or +3 level are not eligible.


The prescribed qualification for this course is 3-years BCA, B.Sc in Information Technology and B.Sc in Computer Science with at least 60% aggregate marks.


Passed/appearing bachelor’s degree with not less than 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST/OBC candidates).

M.Sc in Nursing

The prescribed qualification is B.Sc Nursing (Basic/Post Basic) passed with at least 55% aggregate marks.

Candidate should have one year experience as a Registered Nurse or Registered Midwife.


Passed/appearing Bachelor degree in law or studied integrated law courses.


Passed/appearing B.Pharm examination with at least 55% marks.

GPAT qualified candidates are exempted from the entrance test, but they have to fill up the forms.

SAAT Exam Pattern 2018

SAAT exam pattern 2018 help the candidates to get the details about the structure of the exam. The examination pattern varies according to the course.

Question Paper Type: All the questions that will appear in the examination are of objective type.

Number of Questions: Total 120 questions will be asked on the M.Tech exam. The question paper of B.Tech will include questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects.

Exam Mode: The examination will be held in online mode (Computer Based).

Duration: The examination will be of 2 hours.

Medium of Question Paper: The language of the question paper will be English.

Marking Scheme: Each correct response is followed by 4 marks.

Negative Marking: There is negative marking. One mark will be deducted for each incorrect response.

SAAT Syllabus 2018

As SAAT is conducted for various courses. Therefore, the syllabus is different for each course. The syllabus for B.Tech/DDE/B.Pharm/B.Sc Ag./B.Sc Nursing comprising of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology (Botany or Zoology) subjects. It is basically of 10+2 standard. For Engineering (LE), the questions will come from Basic Electrical Engineering, Mathematics & Engineering Mechanics.

SAAT Admit Card 2018

The admit card will be issued on 15th April 2018.

To download the SAAT 2018 admit card, you have to log in using your credentials.

Along with admit card, students also have to bring one identity proof at the examination hall.

SAAT Result 2018

Candidates can see their result through the official website of SOA University.

SAAT 2018 result will be announced in the third week of May 2018 tentatively.

Separate merit list will be published for each course and for categories as well.

SAAT Cut Off 2018

SAAT cut off 2018 will be released after the completion of the exam. Cut off marks will be different for different categories. Cut off will depend upon various factors such as difficulty level of question paper, seat availability, etc.

SAAT Counselling 2018

SAAT 2018 counselling will be conducted in Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University Campus.

Option exercising will be done through online mode.

Documents will be verified at the time of counselling. Seat allotment is based on candidate’s merit & choices filled.
