KEAM 2019

KEAM 2019 examination will be regulated by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala. The CEE will organize entrance exam only for admission to the engineering & pharmacy courses in Kerala state. Admissions will be based on the normalized score of the candidates and their preferred colleges and courses. KEAM Eligibility Criteria 2019

The candidates will be required to meet the standard eligibility criteria of KEAM 2019 set by the admission authorities. Ineligible candidates will not be allowed to attempt the examination and participate in the admission procedure.

  • Nationality: Indian citizens will be eligible for admissions. Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/ Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) will also be considered eligible.
  • Domicile: The candidates will be categorized as Keralite, Non-Keralite Category I and Non-Keralite Category II for admissions.
  • Age Limit: The candidates should be 17 years old by December 31, 2018. There is no upper age limit for KEAM 2019.
  • Academic Requirements: Should have completed their Higher Secondary Examination of Kerala or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
  • Qualifying Marks: The candidates should have scored 50% marks in Mathematics and an aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics together. For admissions into the B.Tech programmes under Management Quota in Private Self Financing Engineering Colleges/ Government Controlled Self Financing Engineering Colleges, the candidates should have scored an aggregate of 45% marks in Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics together.

 

KEAM 2019 Application Form

KEAM registration 2019 will be started in the first week of February 2019. Candidates will be able to fill the KEAM 2019 online application only through online mode. Candidates have to fill only one application for admission to any or all of the course. The last date to fill the application will be the last week of February 2019. At the time of form filling, candidates have to upload photograph, signature & left-hand thumb impression. Candidates have to send the print copy of the filled application along with the supporting documents to the given address:

Application Fee

Candidates have to deposit Rs. 700 (Rs. 300 for SC candidates) for Engineering only/ B.Pharm only/both. Candidates who belong to ST category, they are exempted from payment of application fee. The fee can be paid by credit card/debit card/internet banking or Demand Draft.

 

KEAM Exam Pattern 2018

KEAM 2018 will be conducted on two consecutive days– Paper I and Paper II on April 23 and 24, 2018 respectively. The examination will be objective based and 2 hours and 30 minutes long. All candidates are requested to check out the exam pattern of KEAM 2018 in detail to prepare for the entrance examination.

KEAM Syllabus 2019

Candidates should be aware about the syllabus of KEAM 2019 to boost their preparation process. KEAM 2019 syllabus consists of the different topics under the subjects of Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry. Majority of the syllabus is similar to the qualifying examination of 12th standard. The question paper of KEAM 2019 will be set as per the released syllabus. Candidates will be able to save their time by knowing which topics and chapters have to be studied for the KEAM 2019 entrance exam. Knowing the syllabus beforehand gives an upper hand to the candidates and it has to be referred to before starting off the preparation process.
