Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research, Puducherry (JIPMER) will conduct JIPMER MBBS exam 2018 on June 3, 2018. The online application for JIPMER MBBS course will end on April 13, 2018.
Admissions to JIPMER colleges in Puducherry and Karaikal is not done on the basis of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, NEET 2018.
A candidate appearing in JIPMER MBBS 2018 should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination in biology/ biotechnology, physics, chemistry, including practical classes) with English as the elective subject.
The general category students need 50 per cent marks to sit in the UG exam. For reserved category, it is 40 per cent while for physically challenged it is 45 per cent.
Age: The candidates should not be less than 17 years at the time of admission.

JIPMER and AIIMS conduct their own entrance exams and are therefore, exempted from National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (UG) for admission to MBBS courses.
JIPMER MBBS Entrance Examination 2018 would be a computer-based test. The paper would be for two and a half house and would contain questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Candidates are advised to go through the detailed information bulletin for checking the eligibility criteria. The online examination would be conducted in two shifts – morning shift of 10:00 am to 12:30 pm and then in the afternoon from 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm. Apart from Physics, Chemistry and Biology, the question paper would also include 10 questions from English Language and Comprehension and Logical and Quantitative Reasoning.
