BITSAT 2019

Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test popularly known as BITSAT is a University level entrance exam. It is organized to provide admission in first year degree in various UG and PG programmes like B.Tech, B.Pharma and M.Sc courses. The BITS offers admission in three campuses i.e. BITS Pilani Campus, K. K. Birla Goa Campus and Hyderabad Campus. This exam is to offer admission in diverse Engineering courses like Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics, Civil, Chemical, Instrumentation, Electronics and Communication, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering and Biotechnology. BITSAT is a computer based online exam conducted by BITS Pilani University.

BITSAT 2019 Application Form

Students will be able to fill the application form through online mode. Only one application form will be accepted by each candidate. Candidates also have to submit three preferences for exam centres. There is no need to send the printed application form to the university.

Application Fee: For Indian exam centres, the application fee will be Rs. 2950/- for male candidates and Rs. 2450/- for female candidates. For Dubai exam centre, candidates have to pay Rs. 4500/- (US$70). The application fee is nonrefundable. Payment can be done through debit/credit card and net banking. Students can also pay by cash payment through generated Pay-in Slip.

 

BITSAT 2019 Eligibility Criteria:

First Degree programmes of BITS except B.Pharmacy: Those interested in applying should have passed the class 12 examination from a recognised Central or State board or its equivalent with physics, chemistry and mathematics (PCM) and adequate proficiency in English.

BPharmacy: Those interested in applying should have passed class 12 examination from a recognised Central or State board or its equivalent with physics, chemistry and biology (PCB) and adequate proficiency in English. Candidates with PCM may also apply.

BITSAT 2019 Syllabus:

The syllabus will be based on the NCERT books for 11th and 12th class. The questions will be asked from different topics such as Physics, Chemistry, English Proficiency, Logical Reasoning, Mathematics and Biology. Candidates can also prepare from NCERT textbooks.

BITSAT 2019 Paper Pattern:

The exam will be conducted through online mode (computer based mode). The question paper will consist of four sections. The exam duration will be three hours. The question paper will comprises of 150 objective type questions. For each correct response three marks will be awarded. There is negative marking. One mark will be deducted for each incorrect response. Negative marking will not be considered for no response.
