AEEE 2019

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham conducts a national level Engineering Entrance Examination to offer admissions to candidates in the institute’s four year BTech Degree programme. The University offers engineering courses at its three campuses which are located at Amritapuri (Kollam), Bengaluru and Ettimadai (Coimbatore). Candidates who satisfy the eligibility criteria for Amrita Engineering Entrance Exam 2019 (AEEE 2019) will be offered admissions in the educational institution’s BTech programmes through counselling, based on their ranks in the entrance examination.

AEEE 2019 Application Form

The candidates can fill and submit the application form through online or offline. The AEEE 2019 application form will be started from the first week of December 2018. The candidates can purchase the application form in person by paying the application fee. Candidates have to register on the website first by providing the personal details. Candidates also have to upload their photo (size should be 3.5 cm (Width) x 4.5 cm (Height)) and signature while filling the application form. The application form will be accepted only after the payment of application fee. The filled-in OMR application form should be send to the address given below before the last date of application:

Application Fee

The application fee will be Rs. 1000/- for all candidates. For offline applications, candidates have to submit the fee through Post Office, Dhanlaxmi Bank and Federal Bank. The application fee can also be paid though Demand Draft drawn in favour of Amrita School of Engineering payable at Coimbatore. Online application fee can be deposited through internet banking, credit card, debit card, etc.

 

AEEE Eligibility Criteria 2019

The candidates those will satisfy the complete eligibility criteria set by the university will be admitted to the first year of four years B.Tech degree programme.

Age Criteria: The age of the applying candidates should fall on or after 1st July 1998.

Qualification Criteria

  • Qualifying Exam: The candidate should pass their 12th standard or its equivalent from a recognized board.
  • Qualifying Marks: The candidates should obtain 60% aggregate marks in the qualifying exam.
  • Subjects: Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry with not less than 55% in each of these three subjects are necessary subjects having in 12th class.
  • Appearing candidates can also apply.

 

AEEE Exam Pattern

  • Mode: The exam will be conducted through both (online and offline) modes.
  • Duration of Exam: The total duration of the exam will be 150 minutes.
  • No. of Questions: There will be 100 questions in the exam.
  • Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) will be asked in the examination.
  • Subjects: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
  • Marking Scheme: For every correct response, 3 marks will be awarded.
  • Negative Marking: For each incorrect answer, 1 mark will be deducted from the total score. For more than one answer, 1 mark will be deducted.
