If you are worried over that, you haven’t cleared JEE Main then don't have any fear. There are always a ton of options available, and you should look for the positive side. Here is how you need to look forward if you got a low score in JEE mains or couldn’t qualify the JEE Main January exam.  

Congratulations to all the students who have scored well in JEE mains. If they haven’t done exceptionally well in that exam, then they should use the opportunity of the April JEE mains exam to see if they can improve their score or ranks further. How The Qualified Students Can Choose The Right College?

 

Students who have qualified January JEE mains exam should shortlist colleges based on their ranks and marks. So that they will be able to figure out the right and best options available for them.

This tool will help them figure out the options available based on their score and ranks and which college will be best for them. They also get to know other information related to the college.

Those students who have done exceptionally well in the January JEE Mains exam can focus on JEE advanced exam in May. They can also consider the top private institute like e Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani, VIT Vellore, Manipal Institute of Technology and SRM Chennai, etc. Before applying to any institute, students should do the hygiene check, such as course-based college reviews, Q&A, course fees, faculty and infrastructure, Placement assistance, etc.

Students who scored low and could not qualify for the JEE Mains (January) do not need to worry about it at all. Because the JEE Main held twice a year, and the best of the two exams are taken. Not only JEE Mains but also there are a lot of good options available out there. State Level Engineering Entrance Tests such as WBJEE, AP EAMCET, UPSEE and OJEE, Several popular private engineering University exams, VITEEE,  MET, SRMJEEE, BITSAT and many more.

Applications for most of these exams are going on so you can apply there. If you qualify them with good marks, then you will get admission into top engineering seats in State-Based Universities and good private engineering institutions.

 

Explore other options that ensure a good alternative career choice

 

Students who have scored average or very poor in JEE Mains should remember that if not IITs/NITs, They must select the best option available for them. They must check parameters like placements, ROI, infrastructure, faculty, curriculum, alumni base, accreditation, etc. so while considering IITs and NITs, you should also consider other.

 

Consider lateral entry into BTech programs

 

These days you can apply BTech programs that can be done after completion of the BSc course in the core science division. For example, if you have a BCA degree, then you are eligible to apply for BTech CSE or BTech IT.

There Are Non-engineering options Available Too

There are a lot of non-engineering options available in which you can make your future bright. There are courses like BCA, MCA, BSc, or courses in any other field in which you can get high earning jobs. So take your time and figure out other best options that are available for you.

Reattempt next year

 

If you have determined that you are going to pursue your career in engineering and engineering is the only choice for you, then you can consider dropping a year. If you haven’t cleared JEE Mains in your first attempt, then you can drop a year and take your time to reattempt. But if you are dropping a year, then you should be 100% sure that you can keep your focus all year round.

No matter what is the score or percentile be, a student must remember that there are many choices available when you think a career-based education than you can think of.

Think about what field you should choose if not engineering? And there are other fields of science available in which you can build your career. Remember that you can always start afresh if you haven’t achieved satisfactory results.
