AIIMS UG 2019 Exam Ends, Know your Qualifying Marks

    The All India Institute of  Medical Sciences, New Delhi is conducting its competitive online entrance examination. The entrance examination is scheduled to be for the MBBS Course of 2019 for AIIMS  through the Computer Based Test (CBT).
    The AIIMS has successfully conducted the undergraduate examination test which was scheduled to be conducted in the two shifts on May 25 and 26, 2019. The candidates who appeared for the relevant examination which was scheduled on the respective dates for the can now know how much they need to score to qualify for the examination. This article is all about. The examination is held in the protocol of two shifts at 145 cities all over India. The duration for the examination is of 3 and a half hours (three hours and thirty minutes). The examination was concluded at 6:30 pm on the Sunday of May 26, 2019.



    The online entrance examination which is (CBT) is scheduled to be conducted in the two shifts which are of morning shift/first shift from 9 am to 12:30 pm and the afternoon shift/second shift from 3p, to 6:30 pm.
    The Reporting Time for the initiative which is the first shift is 7 am and of the second shift is 1 pm.  Here no candidate will be allowed entry into the examination center after 8:45 am in the first shift and as 2:45 in the second shift. 
    The candidates are also advised to reach the relevant examination center in the time and not to wait till the last minute of the hour. There are also several if the mandatory pre-examination activities such as the biometric capture, photo capture, etc, so as to avoid any kind of delay into the commencement of the examinations. Here the candidates are required in their own interest to ensure that they too enter the examination center by at least 30 minutes before the scheduled or the start of the examination.

    No candidate will be allowed to leave the examination hall before the end of three and a half hours. Sticking to the procedures, none of the candidates will be allowed to enter the relevant examination hall without a valid Admit Card (Original Print Out), and ID proof and one photograph. The identification or the ID proof should be the same as that of the one mentioned in the Application.
    Candidates are strictly instructed not to bring a pen/pencil to the Examination hall. The other sheets like pen and the rough sheet etc will be provided by the AIIMS at the examination center. The rough work will only be done on the dough sheet or on the back side of the Admit Card. Candidates should also not bring any kind of the wristwatches, the relevant cell phones, pager, calculator or any of the electronic gadget, the Bluetooth devices, etc, inside the examination hall is strictly prohibited over the examination center.

    In addition to this, any of the type of Ornament, head gear, hair bands, hair clip, belt, bags, credit cards, debit cards, books are strictly prohibited at the Examination Centre. Hence, for the candidates, they are advised not to carry or hold any of these items into the examination center.

    Type of Paper

    The Competitive Entrance Examination will have one part as the consisting of the relevant 200 Objective Type (Multiple Choice and of the Reason-Assertion type) questions from the subjects as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and General Knowledge/Aptitude. The distribution of the questions are as :

    The general standard of the Competitive Entrance Examination is of 12th  class under the 10+2 Scheme/Intermediate Science. No of the syllabus has been prescribed by the relevant Institute for the examination.
    The automated question paper was also provided either in the English or in the Hindi as according to the choice of candidates.

    Scheme of Marking

    Each of the correct answer or the response will get a score of 1 mark. Each of the incorrect response will get a score as :
    General Category50%
    OBC(Non-Creamy Layer)45%
    SC/ST40%
    PWBDCut-offs of the respective category
    Since the examination is being conducted in two days in two shifts per day, a Normalization Procedure will be used; the Percentile score corresponding to the above of the cut-offs which will be used to determine as the eligibility of the  (i.e all shifts).

    Merit List:
    Based on the results of the Competitive Entrance Examination, the merit lists would be prepared as accordingly.

    Declaration of List:
    The list of the candidates who will qualify for the counseling for the online to the M.B.B.S course will be declared as the tentatively by the 18th June 2019.
