Delhi University Admission 2018, Registration started @

Delhi University has started online registration for UG admissions 2018. This year, the registration for both merit-based courses and entrance-based courses will be through the same portal and begin on the same date. There will be two tabs on the same portal and a student can register for both or one of them. The student will have to make separate payment for both the forms.

Last date to apply is 7th June 2018. Students will be able to edit their forms till they make the payment.

Students need to select the course they seek admission to in the registration form itself. The courses for which entrance exam will be conducted are:

  • B.A. (Honours) Business Economics
  • Bachelor of Management Studies
  • Bachelor of Business Administration (Financial Investment Analysis)
  • B.Tech. (Information Technology and Mathematical Innovations)
  • B.A. (Honours) Humanities and Social Sciences
  • Bachelors of Elementary Education
  • Bachelor of Science in Physical Education, Health Education & Sports
  • B.A. (Honours) Multimedia and Mass Communication
  • Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Hindustani Music- Vocal/Instrumental (Sitar/Sarod/Guitar/Violin/Santoor)
  • Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Karnatak Music- Vocal/Instrumental (Veena/ Violin)
  • Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Percussion Music (Tabla/Pakhawaj)
  • Five Year Integrated Programme in Journalism in Delhi School of
  • Journalism
Apart from the courses mentioned above, admission to all other courses will be based on marks scored in class 12. The schedules of entrance exams and counselling/allotment will be released soon, said a notification from DU.
For Delhi University's entrance-based courses, the online registration will begin from May 15 and will be continued till June 7.
According to the schedule released by University of Delhi, the first cut-off for UG admissions will be released on 19th June and the admission based on the first cut-off will be allowed from 19th June to 21st June. This year, DU will announce only five cutoff lists. The last cutoff list will out on July 12. Admissions under it will be completed by July 14. The university will conduct central counselling for remaining seats in the undergraduate courses after the fifth cutoff list.
The class 12 results for many boards are not yet out. Students can fill their details and upload the marks when the results are announced. They will get a text message confirming their registration. There will be no multiple registrations by the same student.
DU aspirants can visit the university and attend ‘Open Days’ to get information related to the admission process, The university will hold ‘Open Days’ from May 21 to May 29 during which officials will address the students.
The online registration for postgraduate and research courses will start from May 18 and May 20, respectively. The registration process for all programmes will be completely online for all categories and for all quotas.
