The Global Management Admission Council (GMAC) which conducts the GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) said the registrations were opened on Tuesday and will be conducted in online mode from 20th April 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The appointment dates are available beginning April 20, 2020, until June 15, 2020. The GMAT online exam can be taken on both Windows and Mac personal computers and laptops.
The GMAT online exam is an online and remote proctored solution developed to support candidates and schools during the disruption to test center-based delivery during the COVID-19 pandemic. While open to all test takers, the GMAT Online exam format is intended to support candidates working to meet upcoming b-school application deadlines.
Vineet Chabra, Head of GMAT said, "Supporting candidates in their pursuit of business school and helping schools evaluate talent has always been our highest priority. As COVID-19 evolved and quickly changed how we have traditionally administered the GMAT exam, we transitioned focus to developing an online testing solution that empowers business schools and candidates to discover and evaluate each other during this interim period."

GMAT Online Exam Pattern:
The GMAT Online exam includes the Quantitative, Verbal and Integrated Reasoning sections (omitting the Analytical Writing Assessment Section). Each section will contain the same number of questions and time per section as the current in-person GMAT exam.
