Kaziranga University has been in the forefront of activities by bringing both corporate and companies closer to the campus, and encouraging them to establish facilities to cater to the needs of students.The Career Development & Placement Cell in the University plays a pivotal role in counselling and guiding the students to prepare for their successful career ahead. This cell is a crucial interface between the stages of completion of academic program of the students and their formal entry into suitable employment. The Career Development & Placement Cell enhances the employability of the students by conducting specialised training in aptitude skills, analytical skills, language skills, technical skills, business skills in addition to online mock tests. The training sessions are conducted by professionals from in-house resources as well as professional trainers from the corporate world. The CDPC also organises internship sessions for the students before they join the respective industry as a preliminary exposure to what they can expect from the next level of their career.

There are total 6 hostels, 4 Girls Hostels, and 2 boys hostels in the KU campus. The hostel provides Table, chair, bed with mattress, bookshelf, and wardrobe for each student in their rooms. Hostel fees are as follows... For 2 seater with AC and attached bathroom Rs 62,000 per semester, for 2 Seater without AC and attached bathroom rs52,000, for 3 seaters and 4 seaters without ac and attached bathroom fees are respectively rs39,000 and rs32,000 per semester. PGs /other options outside the campus are also good, anyone can get a PG or rent room from about of 5-10minutes of distance from the University at a minimal cost of 4,500-7,500 per month. Food at the hostels are of good quality prepared in hygienic kitchens, served and handled by catering service. No extra charge for the mess food, it is included in the hostel fees. Classrooms are modern classrooms equipped with an audio-video facility, full centralized AC, Labs are also good with latest features and facilities with almost all types of machines and equipped with AC.
