IIT Dhanbad

Companies like Goldman Sachs, Deloitte, JP Morgan Asset Management, KPMG, Barclays and many more companies come every year to hire the best minds of IIT ISM. The highest salary package that has been given in recent years is Rs. 15.5 LPA. More than 75% of the students get placed in coveted jobs every year. This statistic is constantly rising for good. All the companies who come to hire the students are internationally recognized. Many students get offers to work abroad with a very high salary package. Like these companies even the students are proud to study at this college.

Hostel

The hostel facilities of IIT ISM are very good. Every room will have a fan and tables and chairs for the students. Each room will be shared by two students. The toilets and bathrooms are shared and there is an availability of water throughout the day. The other facilities available are a mess, canteen, café, TV room, a stationary shop, indoor sports club and many more. There are seven boys’ hostels and four girls’ hostels and one hostel for international students. The institute having a rich history of science and technology, the hostels always have an environment of intellectualism. 

Labs

There are computer labs and other labs of various departments. These labs are equipped with all the modern facilities that help the students in conducting research.

Library

The central library of IIT ISM is the source of all knowledge to the students as well as teachers. The library has books of various subjects including social sciences that the students can read in their free time. The library has shaped the intellectual thought process of many future leaders of this college. The central library of IIT ISM has started to develop the ‘institutional digital repository’ that is based on the DSpace.
