Result out by CBSE: CTET 2016

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared result of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET 2016) Monday, November 07, 2016. The validity period of CTET 2016 qualifying certificate for appointment will be seven years from the date of declaration of its result for all categories. CTET 2016 was held on Sunday, September 18, 2016.

About CTET September 2016:

CTET is conducted for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher for classes I to VIII. The CTET shall apply to schools of the Central Government (KVS, NVS, Central Tibetan Schools, etc.) and schools under the administrative control of UT’s of Chandigarh, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu and Andaman & Nicobar Islands and NCT of Delhi.

The CTET September was conducted at 851 centres in 91 cities in India and abroad. Over 26,638 candidates qualified for paper-I (class I to V) out of the 1.93 lakh students who have appeared. For paper-II (class VI to VIII), 3.86 lakh candidates appeared for the test, and only 42,928 candidates qualified.
