The counselling schedule of Combined Pre Ayush Test (CPAT) 2016 has been postponed by Directorate of Medical Education and Training (U P). New counselling dates to be out soon on the official website.
Earlier, counselling process was scheduled to start from October 18.
The test aims to fill 3,160 seats offered at 49 government and private colleges for admissions to Ayurvedic, Unani and Homeopathy courses.
Meanwhile, over 16, 000 candidates had registered for the CPAT 2016, however; only 15,162 appeared for the test which was conducted in Varanasi, Lucknow, Kanpur and Bareilly.
This year Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith conducted the examination and the answer keys of the test were also released by the university after the conclusion of the test.
The results of the ayush entrance exam were announced on October 2.
All the candidates appearing for the counselling need to pay Rs. 5000 as security amount and Rs. 500 as counselling fee.
