Hurry Up! Last 1 day to apply for DU Journalism course 2017: Delhi School of Journalism

The application forms for the DU Journalism course are available from August 23 and will be end on September 8, 2017. Admissions to the five year integrated programme will be offered through an entrance test to be conducted on September 17.

Delhi University (DU), Delhi School of Journalism (DSJ) on August 23, 2017, launched a Five-year Integrated programme in Journalism, in both English and Hindi mediums.

Eligibility Criteria:

·         Candidates must have a passed higher secondary certificate from a recognised board with minimum 50 per cent marks.

·         Candidates must qualify in the national level written entrance test conducted by the University of Delhi.

Exam Pattern:

The test will be conducted in an online mode only. The DU Journalism entrance test will test students in their proficiency in Analytical & Comprehension skills as well as General Knowledge and Current Affairs. The standard of the test will be on par with those at the national level from Class XII students.

Selection Procedure:

Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of the cumulative results of the DU Journalism entrance exam 2017 (65% weightage) and marks obtained in Class XII Examination (35% weightage).

DU Five year Integrated Journalism programme details:

Delhi School of Journalism will offer a Five Year Integrated Programme in Journalism in two languages, English and Hindi. The DU Journalism programme has an exit option after three years, where students will receive a Bachelor of Journalism degree. After completing the 5-year programme, students will be awarded the Master of Journalism degree.

As a part of the curriculum, students will also learn any one of the four offered foreign languages (French, Spanish, Chinese and Arabic) along with a regional language (Tamil and Bengali) throughout the programme.
