Admit cards to be out: UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) 2017

CBSE will be release admit cards for UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) 2017 tomorrow, 21st December 2016 on the official website.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on behalf of UGC will conduct the examination on January 22, 2017.

The examination is conducted for determining the eligibility for a number of posts, Assistant Professor, Junior Research Fellowship across the country.

How to download admit card:

  • Click on the relevant link
  • Enter all the required details in prescribed format
  • Click to log in
  • Admit cards will be displayed
  • Tale printout of the same for future reference

Examination pattern:

The exam will consist of the following three papers:

Paper 1: The exam will be held for duration of one and a half hours. It will comprise 60 questions, out of which 50 questions should be attempted. It will carry a total of 100 marks.

Paper 2: The exam will be conducted for duration of one and a half hours and will have 50 questions (all are compulsory). It will carry a total of 100 marks.

Paper 3: It will be held for duration of two and a half hours and will consist of 75 questions (all are compulsory). It will carry a total of 150 marks.
