IIT JAM 2018
Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT-B) is administering Joint admission test for M.Sc programme, commonly known as JAM for the year 2018. IIT Bombay has conducted JAM 2018 on February 11. The JAM has been held online for admission to various post graduate (PG) science programmes including integrated Ph.D, M.Sc, joint M.Sc-Ph.D, M.Sc-Ph.D dual degree, M.Sc-M.Tech, M.Sc-M.S (Research), Ph.D dual degree and other post-bachelor degree programmes offered at IISc Bangalore and other Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), respectively. Further, admission to National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs) is offered through centralized counselling to M.Sc / M.Tech programmes (CCMN). Every year, the joint admission test is conducted by an institute among the 16 participating including Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore, IIT Bhubaneswar, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Gandhinagar, IIT Guwahati, IIT Madras, IIT Patna and IIT Ropar. JAM Results 2018
IIT Bombay will declare results of the joint admission test for M.Sc progammes on March 20, 2018. The Joint Admission Test (JAM) takers can download their IIT JAM 2018 result by accessing their registered login accounts from the official link. The JAM result 2018 will specify scores of candidates secured in the joint admission test of M.Sc programmes in the form of JAM score card. Any test taker will not be receiving hard copy of JAM 2018 score card, under any circumstances.
JAM Cut off 2018
IIT Bombay, the exam conducting authority will determine JAM 2018 cutoff after announcement of JAM results. The cutoff of JAM 2018 mentions minimum qualifying marks required by candidates to qualify for M.Sc admissions. The JAM cutoff will be different for different categories i.e., General, OBC, SC and ST. The participating institutes of JAM 2018 will offer admissions to only those candidates who fulfill minimum criteria as per JAM Cutoff.
JAM Counselling 2018
IIT Bombay will organise online counselling for JAM 2018 on April 3 along with beginning of online admission form for IIT JAM counselling. As per the JAM counselling procedure, qualifying candidates can also apply for admissions to M.Sc programmes in National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) through common counselling portal of IIT JAM 2018, also called CCMN 2018. The admissions in IITs, NITs and CFTIs will be offered on the basis of merit lists of candidates and JAM 2018 scores.
JAM Admission Procedure 2018
Candidates will be admitted in various M.Sc programmes at the participating institutes on the basis of All-India merit list of JAM 2018. The JAM 2018 admission list will be announced as per qualifying scores in the admission test. Candidates who qualify in the joint admission test (JAM) can apply for admission to all academic programmes subjected to fulfilment of minimum educational qualification and eligibility conditions.

JAM Application Form 2018
The application form of joint admission test for M.Sc programmes (JAM) 2018 was available from September 5, 2017, in online mode. Candidates needed to register online first and then apply for JAM 2018. The last date to register and fill JAM 2018 application form was October 10, 2017. Candidates were also needed to remit fee for JAM application form 2018. The fee details of JAM application 2018 is given in the table below-

JAM Exam Centres 2018
Candidates could appear for the joint admission test at various exam centres of 65 cities across India. The exam cities had been selected as per the IIT zones. As per IIT JAM 2018 organising committee, a total of 8 IIT zones have been selected. They are as follows–

JAM Admit Card 2018
The admit card for IIT JAM 2018 was available from January 9. JAM 2018 admit card was available in online mode only. Candidates can download JAM e-admit card/ hall ticket 2018 by providing enrollment id/ enrolment id and password. The online admit card of IIT JAM 2018 mentions candidature and examination details including name, roll number, exam date and venue of the test centres along with the exam timing and duration.
JAM Exam Pattern 2018
IIT Bombay conducted JAM 2018 on February 11 in online mode for a total of seven papers including Biological Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Mathematical Statistics and Physics. The admission test was held in two sessions, each of three hours duration. The first session had test papers- Biotechnology (BT), Chemistry (CY), Geology (GG) and Mathematical Statistics (MS) and the second session had test papers of Biological Sciences (BL), Mathematics (MA) and Physics (PH).
JAM Programmes 2018
The joint admission test for post graduate degree in science programmes will be administered by IIT Bombay this year for admissions to as many as 20 post graduate science and applied science programmes. The offered degrees and programmes are listed in the table below–

JAM Participating Institutes 2018
IIT JAM 2018 is admission test conducted for admissions to a number of postgraduate programmes in as many as 16 institutes including IISc Bangalore and IITs.
